£40m take or leave it. Fack Leicester. Every player they have sold recently have all flopped. Chilwell, Maguire and Forfana have all carried over injuries to their new clubs and not worth what their teams paid for.

Only Mahrez and Kante have gone on to do something.

Maddison missed a few games last season on more than one occassion too. Abit injury prone perhaps?

I get Dele Ali vibes from him too. The type to start a fashion label and getting lost in the lights of London.

For him , Newcastle is better fit if he wants to play for England and play at a higher level in the CL.

To the Leicester fan who commented on his interviews, he comes across as cringey gel boy.

If levy offers 40mln.... He'll end up and at Newcastle and we'll fall further behind. We are more desperate than they are.. There will be plenty of clubs after Maddison
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are plenty of other attacking mids out there who would probably cost half the price and be more focused on football.

If the choice is between us and Newcastle, it's a no brainer. Take your Spurs glasses off and the choice should be Newcastle 99 times out of 100 at this moment.

Hatate, Alex Scott, Kang-In are other options. I would rather chuck £50m at Morgan Gibbs-White.

We should be priortising CB's anyway.

See you bigging up Gibbs-white now, I suggested him last summer, got very little support

Levy will get creative probably £30m plus all kinds of add ons knowing Blofeld

£60m would be cut off point. If we don't get him someone else clearly will. We should be taking the initiative and getting things done early. Make a statement of sorts, maybe even show Kane it's worth hanging about.

Yeah but if that statement is overpaying we're making the statement we're going to be mugged off. Raya becomes 50m

You could still say that Maddison is a £60m player whatever the length of his contract dictates. I'd still be prepared to pay that much for him. Richarlison for example was never a £60m player.

You could say that if you like but that's not how it works.

Newcastle have a maximum £75m to spend this summer, due to Financial Fair Play regulations. If they were to spend £60m on Maddison, that would be 80% of their transfer budget gone. This would leave them only £15m for other signings, which is clearly nowhere near enough. There is very little leeway for them as they amongst others are under scrutiny for potential breaches of FFP.
