I don't think Tomatoes has articulated his views on Antony until this point
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lmao, I'm at hafi levels concerning Antony. I think Sancho is a better attacking player than he is, and Sancho's been sheite since he came.

He is limited and for his price is a complete waste. It also says a lot about Ten Hags idea of the right players for attacking (magnified by his constant play of Weghorst)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Let it all out, Tomatoes.

Lmao. How many times does someone cross from his strengthened left leg and not get one goal. Even wan Bissaka can manage 1 good cross over a season.

If you look at the goals we conceded due to De Gea positioning and lack of coming out for crosses and one on ones, I reckon if we had someone like Alisson in goal our expected goals against last season would have been about 28. We conceded so many goals as De Gea couldn’t be bothered to move 1 yard forward from a cross. Ranked 20th this season in high claims in the league and that is like his usual level.

Also I think De Gea has conceded like the most long range goals per season of any Man Utd keeper in the premierleague. He seems to let in terrible shots every year. Like 10-15 goals we concede from terrible shots a season hence why when someone like Romero and Henderson came in for him they both kept nearly a clean sheet every game they played saving a lot more than De Gea does for his clean sheets.

People are so used to it now like Gundogan goal or the one we conceded away to West Ham or Brentford earlier in the season or the howlers away to Sevilla. Most of the goals we now concede are not due to the opposition but the goalkeeper.

De Gea also has let in terrible shots that he rebounded into danger for oppositon to tap in like at home to Brighton and Liverpool last season. His positioning and movement for long range shots is embarrassing. I seen this standard for last 5 years as well, the same thing every year. Remember when Ole came and then signed his contract. Everyone said the wheels fell of but statistically we were playing much better when he signed the contract than when we didn’t but we underperformed XG for and against by like 30 goals which meant we had a relegation level end of season.

Even 21/22 season under Rangnick first shot against us was a goal in nearly every game under Rangnick so much so Rangnick started saying it and I remember so many of those games like Burnley 1st shot of the game was a goal and that was in the 2nd half. Southampton 1st and only shot in the 2nd half a goal at OT due to shocking keeping by De Gea.

Palace and Everton away losses there XG was both just over 0.3 and they both beat us lol. Felix goal an XG of 0.09 and De Gea shocking positioning and reaction was the only reason that went in. West Ham winner XG shot was 0.03 and another De Gea howler meant it went in.

Liverpool beat us 7-0 scoring with lots of low XG chances mainly due to terrible goalkeeping by De Gea. Olise freekick equaliser was 0.04 XG but again De Gea made it look impossible to save. I think a top keeper saves it as it wasn’t in the corner. De Gea poor position and snail pace movement meant it went in, nearly identical to Gundogan 2nd goal at Wembley he makes a shot most keepers save go in.

It seems to me that this article can only be settled with one man.

Hafi, where are you? Tell us which GK we need?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hafi has been right forever. He really has.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He strangely has.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he hasn’t. He thinks Henderson is a top keeper. That throws it out right there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Henderson is a better keeper.

Not a chance
