£80m + add-ons to Bayern Munich

or keep him at all costs?

What do SPURS fans think is best for the club with Harry Kane.

Should we take the money and spend, build for the future (although lets be honest £80m gets you 2 decent players only). I wouldtnt swap Kane, for example, for Mason Mount (£60m) + £20m. And this shows that WC talent is very difficult to replace in this market and hence why Levy will hold out?

DO we have any sense that Postecoglou will be able to inpsire and improve Spurs to such a degree that it will convince Kane to commit long term before his contract's out.

If the guy wants to win things then only really City PSG and Bayern can guarantee that. If he wants to win the UCL then its the same teams again plus Real and may be Barca that offer the best chance.

Come next summer he'd have his pick. There is no certainty United or Chelsea would even be top 4 at that point. His domestic choices for guaranteed trophies would likley be just as limited/uncertain.

Would we ever just think...screw the money, and forego his transfer fee on a gamble that he stays beyond this season?

What would you do SPURS fans ?

Kane would be idiotic to believe Levy will actually change and back then to win the league. He signed his last contract extension based in that hope. Fool me twice and all that.

If he’s not prepared to sign a new contract, then sell him now.. it’s not rocket science!

Keep him Devon. The problem with selling him now is that we won’t get a decent replacement, especially as we’re not in the CL.

Hopefully Kane stays, helps fire us back to the CL and then he goes next summer. Spurs have the financial clout to then bring in another top striker - especially as Kanes wages will be gone and we would have CL revenue again.

The ideal replacement for me would be Evan Ferguson at Brighton - they would want £90m ish I would imagine given his age

£90 million for a Brighton player. Good grief. Football has seriously lost the plot.

The team that finished 2 places above you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

For the first time in a 100 years, so that makes their players now £90 million players?

Spurs are rumoured to be offering Kane £400k a week to make him the highest paid player in the PL, he won`t be getting that at Bayern. £20m a year in wages for 4 years + a transfer fee of £100m this summer, is a £180m outlay on one player, Bayern don`t have that kind of money.

We should keep Kane unless the transfer fee is north of £100m, replacing his output will be nigh on impossible, top class strikers are thin on the ground, if they were so plentiful and available, then the likes of Bayern would be signing those instead of chasing Kane.

400k a week? I will believe that when I see it. All the reports I have read are that Spurs have offered him 300k a week. Which might be enough to tempt him if he doesn't move elsewhere this summer.

How is 400k the highest paid player in the league?

Haaland is on nearly double that!

£90m for Ferguson

He has achieved next to fack all, he has scored a grand total of 6 goals.

He is a £25m - £30m player, a young player to take a punt on and develop for the future.

My point is that where a player plays doesn't determine his value. His ability determines his value. I don't think Ferguson is worth £90m, but not becaise of who he plays for. How much do you think Caciedo is going to go for?

Another vastly overrated modern player.

Finding a replacement is not easy, but he can sign a deal with Bayern in January for next season and you have a player already committed to leaving with half the season to go. It is a really weird rule but will be the worst of all worlds for Spurs. Kane gets a move, Spurs get nothing for him and have half a season with a player who has mentally packed his bags. 70m Euro now looks tempting compared to that I would say.

I think and hope Kane will stay because I believe breaking the premier league goalscoring record is more important to him that winning the german league.

I also hope that Levy (for once) ignores the financial side of things and lets us see him in a Spurs shirt for one last season.
