Bit young to retire but must have been unwilling to fight for his place so I will wish him luck in the Saudi retirement home league.
I thought he was a great player and I doubt the PL will see a player with greater ability to bring a ball under control no matter how and from what angle it was fired into him. He was simply world class at that.
Maybe it means Palmer won't go out on loan as a slot is available?

This Saudi stuff is just beginning. It's no longer clapped out has beens, but they are scooping up players who would get a start in any Premiership team. They have heaps of money. Gonna be like LIV or maybe even worse. Not many around who will turn down hundreds of millions of quid.

But “the GOAT” has decided to move to Miami instead. Others are, and will follow.
Europe is now becoming second tier for top flight players. FIFA are encouraging the ME and USA to further develop. Follow the money.

I couldn’t imagine Jack Grealish trying to adapt to the Saudi lifestyle for a few extra quid.

Op… ridiculous article!
Apart from the World cup Mahrez has won all the major trophies on offer, at his age he could still do a job at the highest level, but perhaps he’s securing the future for his whole family! That surely can’t be begrudged!

Not begrudging him at all, sad to see him go but at his age do not blame him, in fact it says' I wish him luck'.

Apparently Ronaldo is telling everyon he's responsible for the influx of 'top talent' into Saudi.

He has won everything at City and nothing left to prove now. He is approaching 31. Time to get a decent payday

I didn't know 31 came after 32
