I thought we were the better side in the second half. And bear in mind the first goal wouldn’t have stood in a competitive match.

But we need to sort the striker situation out.

Real looked like they could cut us open at will, and could or should have scored more from what I’ve seen. We didn’t look out of place though.

Yeah sounds like our offer is actually a little higher and by most accounts he’s keen to join us, hopefully this nudges it along. We really could do with getting him and possibly the midfielder in with time to blood them in a friendly and train with the team over the next couple weeks.

They had a fifteen minute spell in the first half where that was the case but ETH sorted the shape out to be more effective.

Bruno should never play on the flanks again.
