Annoying thing is the ps5 is now old technology. Its been out 3 years and it costs too much.

I'm waiting for the ps5 slim, as the ps5 is just too facking big

How does it cost too much? At that price point it's the best thing on the market comfortably. Even a modern PC that would be comparable is 700+ quid depending on what you want

So you want the digital version? Almost £400 quid.
Can barely hold 5 games, so you'd need to spend more money to get more storage space, meaning you're spending over £500 to get the storage you need if your internet is sh!t like mine. Can't keep deleting and downloading when it takes 24 hours for one game.

You're right it would cost more to get a comparable gaming PC set up but I don't care about that. I'm a console gamer and for what it is, it's expensive.

I bought my ps4 pro for about £310 and that came with a disk drive. It still plays 4k games and it looks great.
My mates got a ps5 and when I watch him play the same game im sat there thinking it really doesn't look much better than my ps4 pro. You may get a few more frames but I only play single player games and FIFA, so it doesn't affect me at all.

Its pretty much a pointless upgrade in my opinion.

You yourself having bought a PS4 Pro for more or less the same price - so its not too much at all. It just doesn't fit YOUR needs at this moment in time, that doesn't make it cost too much.........

Ps4 pro has a disk drive.
The ps5 disk edition is close to £500 (although very and Argos have them on offer right now).
When it's not on offer it's over £150 more expensive than what I paid for the pro. Not comparable at all unless £150 is nothing to you.

The normal sale price is £479.99

I'm not sure why people are getting on Ali - (U1192) back.

If he doesn't see value at the moment then that is up to him. Obviously over 40 million people at this point see it differently. I'm sure he will get one in time, but if he is happy with his Pro, it's all good.
