Not sure exactly who this fella is, or his expertise, but some of the reasoning he’s come up with re these loan blows the FFP excuse/benefit out of the water.
Even more worrying is the suggestion things can only get WORSE from here, not better, for several years.
Please someone tell me he’s got it all wrong ?

They're going on loan because they have a loan release clause.
——————————
why you think they have loan clauses 🤣
Come on, think why Bamford isnt going anywhere 🤦
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They have loan clauses because the board were terrible at negotiating. In fact I would assume it was the board that suggested them as they are so prevalent.
Both Southampton and Leicester will have wage reductions for the majority of their players. Why don't they have loan clauses?
Why doesn't Adams if it is a requirement?
There was no need for them.
A relegation release clause would have been necessary. Like the case with Adams. And Bamford will have one too.
And yes it's obvious why Bamford isn't going anywhere, which is why it's necessary to have wage reductions. So we aren't paying those no one wants like Bamford £70k/week still. Firpo £90k/week etc

A slight distraction - I see on the LUFC OS that Joe Rodon is listed under ‘Goalkeepers’ 😂

Confession time from me, I've never ever felt as disillusioned to be a Leeds fan. Never.
I'm 54 in a month which tells you my time as a supporter of the club has hardly been laced with regular celebrations of success anyway. But I've never known the club appear so directionless.
Five or six weeks ago Phil Hay was advising us to remain calm & patient. This is how the 49ers do their business, so he reckoned. Methodical.
Well the team that started on Saturday won't survive in the Championship. No amount of happy clapping or getting behind them just because they aren't refusing to play won't change that. There is some pace, energy & exuberance of youth but zero guile & nobody who knows where the net is.
I'm working on Friday & would need to finish slightly early to race across Yorkshire to reach Elland Road for kick-off. Can I bothered? As it stands, with no sign of incoming, no.
And I'm normally a glass half-full person.
Yours in LUFC induced depression.

Agree entirely that the incompetence of the board is still the primary and most pressing problem.
We are clearly not in safe hands.
What is baffling is that Farke and Ampadu are good appointments - did the board just get lucky with them, like Radrizzani got lucky with the appointment of Bielsa?

I think Farkes a good appointment, I really think we need more than a couple of matches for Ampadu,
The reality is he is far and away out most expensive signing since takeover and in such a poor team he’s looked ok, but can’t say more than that yet.

I've listened to the entire podcast and both presenters speak really well for us all.
1) How did these contracts get passed Paraag despite claiming to be an "Expert on these matters" even as a vice chairman with 44% of shares
2) Financial Fair Play doesn't play a part for 3 years so why have we not invested in the squad.
3) Letting Jack Harrison go out on loan despite signing a contract in April is sheer incompetence
What is going on?
Anyone who doesn't want to fight for their club should if possible be sold or banished to the reserves!

I'm normally a happy clappy sort, as some describe us, but there's some real strange things going on, or so it seems.
Safe hands? Not sure either way right now. I'm hoping, really hoping, that we've got some additions to come in. Squad does seem a bit thin for my liking, especially for a championship season.

VOF - I'm not sure there's such a thing in football as safe hands to be honest, and me too, surely a 'happy clapper' walks about the happier of the fan base right? - 'oh well it is what it is' sort of attitude when comes to owners...
lets be honest neither party would or ever could change whats going to happen anyway?
clearly they're there to make a profit, so the only way you'd get owners who 'please' the fans totaly would be fans themselves.. which, as history tells us, didn;t work overly well for us either.
but to conclude 'clearly we're not in safe hands' after two games and a window not even closed yet, seems a little bit premature...
sit here in stitches as some of the drearys sometimes.. think to myself, wonder if they're in proper foul moods all day drilling through their minds stuff they can;t change, and for the most, understand

I always veer towards benefit of the doubt to anyone I know for the first time, which in the context of Leeds has seldom worked out well!! I suppose I can be pigeon-holed as a cheerie mostly, but at the moment my guard is up with what's happening!!
2 games in does seem a bit premature to be burning bras and other underwear. There's too much "I told you so" being flung around as well right now. Truth is no one truly knows, outside the boardroom, the real reasons for the apparent mess ongoing. I guess it's the experiences of the past which influence current thoughts for many - to be honest, i do get it.
What I do use as some level of assurance is that I don't get any logic or reason for 49ers and any investors associated with them, to want to make a loss or not want the club to succeed (get promoted) to where the real riches lie. That's the bit that offers some encouragement..... we'll see mate ........
