DERBY COUNTY v FLEETWOOD TOWN League1 #4 |
1500 Pride Park Stadium Saturday 19th August 2023 |
Whoa....whoh....whoa....wtf!!!! Pride Park on Tuesday, jolly disapppointing with much vitrolic directed at the team and manager alike. As Mrs View said to me "Mr View, I know little about football but that was poor by Derby wasn't it?"
I answered "Yes".
I've read the contributions on here from posters more erudite than me in the ways of football and usually you lot act as a sensible barometer of current feeling toward the club. And, yeah, you were pretty spot on.
Not that I left early or booed - never!
I don't think we can play with three at the back, I don't think we can play with Otis down the middle but if even I can think that, why cannot the manager? He's a nice chap but......
Fleetwood come to us on the back of two consecutive defeats - see, we've only had one consecutive defeat - and should be there for the taking, but maybe I should not say that
The expectations of the Faithful are exceeding the attainments of the team. Do we temper those expectations or because we are Derby expect more?????
