Afternoon View.
Its been a funny old week. Lets hope for a decent conclusion tomorrow evening đĽ
Ah, a new match thread. A time for optimism and hope …
I am always full of optimism and hope (usually 3-1's worth). But apparently this doesn't count as I don't go to games and am merely an interested bystander.

Heb, ignore the snide comments, you are just as much a Derby fan as anyone who attends the games and are just as passionate. I have only seen Derby at Mansfield in the Papa John Trophy last year since I moved to the US in 2017. I became a derby fan when I was around 5/6 yrs old as my neighbours son, David Toon played for Derby reserves when Clough was manager. Since I was around 14/15 I’ve been to around 70 grounds watching Derby and I can honestly say I enjoyed watching them more away than at home as the majority of the fans who go away tend to be more positive than the moaning whingers at the home games, more noticeable since the all seating stadia. đđđ
"Apparently this doesn't count"? Where does that come from? I don't recall seeing any snide comments. Have there been any? Name names!

Nothing serious, was just at harmless comment that " I don't have to suffer actually watching games", when I mentioned that I was happy in L1 - can't even recall who made it but all good. đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż

Derby under 21s drew one all with Liverpool last night at Alfreton , does anybody know what we've moved from Loughborough, or was it just a one off.

Thanks UT, just watched. Cant gather much from the highlights, but first point of thd season at least.
Not sure about the Impact as a venue, Moor Farm is now the regular home, I think. However, at PP v Spurs next Fri.
A few trialists by the look of it. Having Johnson on the pitch has got to be good for the kids. We could do with someone like him in the first team though he wasn’t universally popular.
No news on Bird or Ward’s injuries, just cryptic comments from Warne yesterday saying we are still waiting for feedback on “bone” injuries. So that means either a fracture or more likely bone bruising in the case of Bird. I’m hoping this means it isn’t ACL as we would probably have heard by now. Optimistically still likely to be several weeks out though. If both Ward and Wilson are out might we see a back four to the delight of some posters?
Wildsmith
Rooney Nelson Cashin Forsyth
Thompson Smith Hourihane
NML Washington Waghorn
Only difference in my probable line up would be Edgar at LB and Cashin / Forsyth as the central defenders.
The 11:00 Crewe-Derby train could be interesting. I suspect the entire Fleetwood away contingent might be on board?
