We know this will be the final week for clubs to make changes and recruit additional players either to cover injuries, or to keep improving their squad.
I am expecting to see a flurry of activities from the PL clubs, including Spurs, but also United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea - who have just done one more deal!
Defenders
Tosin
Spurs interests seem to grow in securing a deal for Tosin Adarabioyo of Fulham. The deal could be a potential swap with Tosin and Dier, who Fulham want.
Edmon Tapsoba
Edmon Tapsoba interests have cooled in recent weeks, mainly the fee being a huge issue for Spurs.
However, a sensational link is coming from Germany that Spurs were told that his club would be willing to accept an offer around £50m to secure the deal for Edmon Tapsoba. One to watch.
Peter Schuurs
Peter Schuurs, the Torino FC player, is another player in the Spurs radar for this window. Talks are ongoing from all the outlets. This has a lot of credibility.
Strikers
Jota, from Ittihad, is the Portuguese forward who is also being linked and has interest shown by Spurs. Jota has links with Ange, having played under him at Celtic. He was a key member of the treble winning side under Ange at Celtic.
Brennan Johnson
Spurs are in the driving seat for securing the deal for Brennan Johnson, N Forest forward. His club is worried about FFP and are willing to listen to offers. Chelsea are also after him.
Ferguson
Spurs ideally would like to bid for Brighton's Ferguson, with the Kane money. The fee being thrown about is approx £115m. This would be one signing for present and future. However, Brighton currently refusing to even discuss the player.
As the transfer window is coming to an end soon, which player would you like to see us get, in what areas we need improving (well hint striker?) and Who will be leaving the club?
With as it is, how would rate the window out of 10? For me 4/10 - IF we get a CB and forward then it could go upto 7 or 8 /10
What about you?

If Levy has any serious ambition he should be going out and buying Tapsoba, upgrading Hojbjerg and finding a CF.
Hopefully we can shift our deadwood so we can bring in some new faces, even if it means taking a hit on some of them. I won`t be surprised if we see some loans or loan to buy deals again in vintage Levy style.

I agree with most of that Billy but I’m not convinced we need a replacement for PEH - Sarr looks like the real deal and we have Be rancher to come back. Skipp is adequate. I would rather spend that money on a top attacker or CB

Would love Fergusson and Tapsoba.
I don’t get the whole “We can’t buy Tapsoba to sit on the bench” - such a small time mentality and why we are where we are.
We need to start buying players that should be in the first 11. I’m sick of hearing “good squad player”- then we’re stuck with loads of “squad players”.
It’s not unreasonable to have VDV, Romero, Tapsoba and Phillips as our CBs. Especially as VDV could cover LB.
If Richarlison played for any other club we’d be ripping them for it. But because he plays for Spurs, he needs time etc blah blah blah. He’s craaap. Tout him to Saudi as Brazil’s No.9 and take whatever we can whilst his stock is still high(ish) instead of at the end of the season when he’s scored 5 goals.
We need a starting striker.
I am 98% sure Levy will not add first 11 quality to this squad now though. He never does. We will end up with NJie 2.0 and a lower Prem player in the last year of their contract for CB.

Yes, hallmark of Levy unfortunately....
Even with money burning in his pocket he doesn't think about bolstering the team, instead he thinks about his yacht and what colour next one should be

Spurs midfield is fine now. Especially with Bentancur to come back. PEH is fine off the bench, although I suspect he wants regular playing time, so wouldn't be surprised to see him leave.
Definitely need another striker though.

And a CB...To cover in case of Romero being injured (very likely to happen at the rate of his crunching tackles per game!)
