Scholes has confessed to a Man U YouTube fan channel that he has been living a lie and that that Gerrard is superior to him.

Even the Man U fan who was interviewing was shocked.
Debate is over lads. We don't need to revisit this anymore. I know you (Man U fans) have had a shocking week and this debate was your solace but we would still like your input over Gerrard V KDB or Lampard.
Scholes V Gerrard debate is OVER!

After all these years the debate has finally been settled. Scholes the quitter withdraws himself from contention. Mancs in the toilet. We can all move on now.

Nope, Scholes just demonstrating admirably modesty, rather than the self indulgence of Stevie Me Me Me

You honestly think Gerrard wouldn't say similar?

Former United striker Sheringham, who played alongside all three players during his career, believes Gerrard is the greatest of the trio – despite his relative lack of major silverware when compared to Lampard to Scholes.
In a clip posted on the PFA's TikTok account, Sheringham said: "I'm going to go for Steven Gerrard.
"I know he didn't win the league as a player but I think he was probably the best single player of his era over a 20-year span.
"I know the Manchester United boys won't be happy but I just felt that he could do everything.
"He could run, he could tackle, he could score goals, he could head the ball, he could defend, he could do everything.
"You put him in any position on the football pitch and he would be the man."

Souness had the advantage of good players around him, but I'd still pick him over Gerrard
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So would I, though I wonder how many red cards he’d pick up these days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All of them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think a red card would be enough for whatever he'd do to Pogba.

I agree with that. But just as an attacking mid he perhaps wasn't the best. But as Teddy says he could play any position , Paul couldn't

Zidane never mentioned Gerrard to my knowledge he said this:
When once asked “what does it feel like to be the best player in the world?” Zidane reportedly replied: “I don’t know, ask Paul Scholes.”
Which is nonsense, as Zidane was clearly far superior to scholes. I think Zidane was being modest with that comment, but it does speak volumes in how high scholes was rated. I don’t think Zidane ever commented on SG.

Clearly you think wrong...
'Zinedine Zidane believes Liverpool's Steven Gerrard is currently the best player in the world, eclipsing Lionel Messi of Barcelona and Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.'

Sort of a jack of all trades but master of none, every team needs a utility man
