One of the most unexpected results of last season came in this fixture, an early Joel Matip og, a 10 yard thunder bolt from Craig Dawson and late and rare Ruben Neves run in to the box to convert Adama Traore's cross provided the highlight of a patchy season. A lot has changed since then.

A late flurry of transfer activity in and out has reshaped the squad, a relatively new coach and an international break is far from ideal preparation for a game against an in form, unbeaten Liverpool side. A free hit for Wolves maybe and we'll have a punchers chance but a repeat of last season's result seems unlikely. Liverpool will be without captain Virgil van Dyke, suspended for being a potty mouth after being sent off against Newcastle. Wolves have no new injury problems at the time of writing but Joe Hodge is likely to miss out with a hamstring injury.

It remains to be seen if the new guard can provide the quality required to win points in the world's toughest league. The hope is that the new players can harmonise well with the talent we already have, it's the start of a new journey for the club let's hope it's a pleasant one.

A major change to tv scheduling is going to take place when the new rights package is issued to tv companies to bid against. This will result in 25% more Premier League games being shown live on tv every week. For instance there will be 4 live games on a Sunday, all at different times, with the last one kicking off at 6:30

also possibly more Friday and Monday evening games, making it even more difficult for those of us with long journeys to even home games, difficult enough as it is with rail strikes and road congestion, , meaning I will probably not be using my season ticket so much myself

18 year old Irish striker Nathan Fraser has been making a big impression with the academy and u21 teams and now like Bueno and Hodge is considered a member of the first team squad. Be great if a solution to our scoring problems is found through our own youth system

It is an ongoing planning nightmare not knowing what day or time each match is going to be played. Not going to change and clearly the next step on will be for every Premier League game to be televised live. So it’s likely to get worse not better in that respect

Armchair “fans” like wolfie get to see every match live now, that’s why he’s even more knowledgeable then the season ticket holders on ‘ere. 👍

Since moving away from the Midlands, mid-week and evening games have pretty much become a write off for me.

I bet it will mean we need more subscriptions to watch games as well, which will mean an increase in cost to be able to watch football on TV.

I've almost convinced myself that I won't be going to the City game due to a planned rail strike, not sure who the rail workers are really hurting that will make any difference to their demands

Exactly this. When was the last time a Tory got on a train?

Liverpooh fans on the train last week singin flip the tories but then admitting that the government wouldn't be any different if any of the other lot of charlatans got in, you need something to be a politician today but unfortunately none of what those things are good for the public

I have already got loads of subscriptions myself as well because I am an idiot , Brighton v AEK quite a watch at the moment

Yeah tv is difficult these days isn't it. Got so many subscriptions I can't keep up. Thankfully the footy isn't a problem so much as I have zero interest in watching anything other than Wolves and international tournaments.

Nfl And College Am. Footy season has started so games are literally on every network imaginable.
