A few injuries but should have enough...

if it wasn't for the 12.30 kick off id be more confident, think that gives wolves a chance tbh, Liverpool under Klopp struggle with 12.30 kick off titmes.

Not expecting anything. 1-3 Liverpool.

Would be nice if we put in a good performance regardless.

I also think we may see a back five.

Klopp has a 33 % win rate in 12.30 kick offs. 12 wins 13 draws 11 losses. bear in mind he has a 60.2 % overall winrate as Liverpool manager.

I think the 33% win rate in 12.30 kick offs, has more to do with the television scheduling and the TV companies hand picking Liverpool's tricky away matches for the armchair masses.

I fancy Wolves to get a point in this one, however if we concede early it could get messy.

Tricky after a int break and away from home, but we do have a decent squad, the likes of Doak..Bajcetic and Konate are available along with Jota..Salah..Gakpo..Mac..Szlob..Endo..Gravenberch in mf.

Likely side

.......................Ally..........
Gomez..Konate..Matip..Robertson
............Bajcetic...Macallister
.......................Szlob..................
Salah..............Gakpo............Diaz

Injury doubts: Thiago..Nunez..TAA
Unavailable: VVD

IMO this is all baout wolves set up.

their results are wildly inconsistent so far.

By far the better team against wolves but could not score.
Thumped by brighton.
Squeaked past everton
Got done last by palace

Some narrow margins, sometimes goals, sometimes sturggling to score.

I think we will see a 451 out of Oneill and try to sucker punch our defence.

I'm fairly sure that due to the nature of the south american games and timings that we will not start macallister or diaz or nunez.

Jota will start IMO. Jones started the last game, gravenberch might come in. theres lots of options.

But the one thing LFC cannot afford to go do is exactly what they did against wolves last season (no not concede 2 sloppy stupid goals) We have 5 easy chances to score in that game after dominating and missed the lot. not saves, just missed.

Same v Bournemouth away against o'neill last year. even missed a pen.

If we can make and take the chances we can create wovles will have to come out more.

Yeah..u may be right on th S Americans...Jota in for Diaz and maybe Jones in for mac in my line up

Not the best prep for this game for Wolves with a few players coming and going at the end of the transfer window and then pretty much straight into an international break, so not much time to put plans into place.

Liverpool will clearly be favourites to win the game and that win last year was Wolves first league win against them at Molineux since 1981. But hope at the very least we give them a run for their money tomorrow

More enertainment for us coming from the north, looks like I'll have an hour on the train (with the usual suspects) full of travelling scousers - always the problem I suppose when you live near Liverpool

posted on 15/9/23

Not a lot of time for them to jump off in Stafford or penkridge for bevvies tomorrow, imagine the train will be heaving.

Son's season ticket has turned up at last today, only six weeks late.

Don’t really like these early kick offs. Means having a pre game beer far too early.

Today comes the news that the home game against Spurs on Nov 11th will also be a 12:30 kick off

Watching Southampton v Leicester, quality is absolutely shocking

posted on 15/9/23

All three goals so far have been giveaways. Match will be decided by which team gives the most goals to the opposition

posted on 15/9/23

Yeah Leicester clearly have goals in them but neither side has corrected the defensive problems that got them relegated, In fact Southampton look considerably worse.

Teams are in Bellgarde and Hwang come in for Silva and Sarabia.

Liverpool starting an academy graduate at centre back.

Jose Sa, Nelson Semedo, Craig Dawson, Max Kilman, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Jeanricner Bellegarde, Mario Lemina, Joao Gomes, Pedro Neto, Matheus Cunha, Hwang Hee-chan.

Looks like 4-3-3

Klopp paying our strike force the respect they deserve 👍

posted on 16/9/23

Well that was a good half. Only criticism is that we should probably have scored 3.

posted on 16/9/23

Sounds like we are playing great, i like the sound of that. Unable to watch, am in NJ for a wedding.

Bellegarde sounds good.

posted on 16/9/23

Yeah, Bellegarde has been great. Neto has been on a different level to everyone else.

Pressing high. Breaking quickly. Cunha has missed a couple of chances, but has also been key to those two things.

You can see how this will potentially go though. We should be out of sight now, but Liverpool will end up getting a result. A bit like the United game. Hopefully we can start the second half the same way and get another.

Joao Gomes is becoming my favourite player. Absolutely loved that moment when he celebrated a tackle that broke up a Liverpool attack.
