I don't want bad luck to be the excuse for where we are.
There are many reasons that don't include luck.
But it hasn't been running for us recently.
Greenwood and Antony. Both misses for us, particularly Greenwood.
Injuries, plenty, but missing two of our best defenders doesn't help.
Mainoo I think would have had his chance.
Garnacho offside against Arsenal and Hajlunds ball out play, weren't bad luck, the decisions were correct, but those given could have changed the match.
We need a slight change of luck, injuries to improve, 100% effort from everyone.
Also a good captain. Whatever we think of Bruno, he isn't that.
Finally, despite some believing it doesn't matter, we need certainty over the ownership. Everyone, but particularly Erik. His and his families immediate future could depend on what happens next.
Luck

ETHs family are one of the richest in the Netherlands. (Just stop and imagine how much that might actually be). Combine that with what he has earnt himself out of football so far and with his long contract at United to come then I dont think we have to worry too much about Ten Hags immediate future.

Of course ETH didn't cause the Sancho situation, Sancho did.

Hmmmmm. You do know Sancho was reacting to the managers very public comments about him.

Yes, I know ETH explained why Sancho wasn't training with the first team. It was a situation Sancho caused by various misdemeanors in his behaviour.

No.
ETH told the world that Sancho had been dropped for training poorly.
Do we think he will be telling us every time a player trains poorly?

I hope so, if they are equivalent to Sancho.

I very much doubt it. Looking at our performances, Sancho wontjave been the first / only player to have trained poorly by now.

Cobblers.
Nothing to do with the situation.
Actually, it's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the situation. And is the worst kind of excuse.
The ignored reality is the club has a collection of the worst kind of players in this kind of situation - i.e. their obvious lack of ability to adapt, as a 'team', to all the different scenarios that dynamic team sports will produce.
That plus the ongoing absence of specialists in specialist positions.
Granted the GK situation has massively improved (that was never going to be difficult), but without Maguire - who is clearly 'out of favour' - there is just no genuine EPL level CBs at the club. And long-term the absence of a striker (or strikers) has created all kinds of problems - both long-term as well as short-term.
It's all too late for this season now but, unless the club invests in solid professional EPL experienced footballers and not on image and marketing then opportunity to restore the club back to it's heritage will be lost for a long time

The club have tried to do that with signings like Mount, Haaland, Onana, players the manager wants and work in his system.

We don’t want superstars (Casemiro, Pavard, ADM, Neymar)
We don’t want Prem proven players (Wilson, Ward-Prowse, Mount, Rice)
We don’t want older players (Benzema, Lewandowski, Kante)
We don’t want young, promising talents (Amad, Pellistri, Malacia)
We as fans are just too demanding.
