As poor as our defensive injury list looks, it’s our attack which is shocking. Looking at the league table, somehow we’ve scored the same amount of goals as Palace, nearly half as many as West Ham and only one more than Everton. A Spurs side who sold their only proper striker and replaced him with Brennan Johnson have scored 17. Three of those goals of ours came in one game so the stat of 4 goals in 6 games is even more shocking.
Last season we only scored 58 goals in 38 games which is poor to say the least.
Where are we going wrong? Novice striker? Rashford out of form? Bruno playing for himself? All of the above?
If Ten Hag is still there in Jan it’s now become less of a maybe and more of a YES PLEASE that we go for Ivan Toney as well as finding a way to get our attack more involved in the goals because of those 7 goals only one was scored by a striker.
7 goals in 7 games / Ivan Toney

The league is a players bread and butter.
10 in 33
17 in 31
11 in 27
04 in 25
17 in 35
That's his Prem goalscoring record in his previous 5 seasons.
59 in 151. Hardly great.

You won't find many LWF with better numbers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't mean others WOULDNT get better numbers for us given the oppurtunity.

No, but it does make you constant chat about him look like bollox, which it is, because you don't understand football.

It's bollox to say he isnt very good right now and generally overrated?

I don't see anyone saying he's being any better than he is.
What you've done is pick a player out of form and repeatedly focused on him. Now you could have picked pretty much any player really, but you've picked fan favourite and youth product whom most like.
The reason? To get attention and be contrary.
Fact is I don't see anyone laying chances on a plate for Rashford and ironically, you expect too much.

Contrary? Many, many people are questioning Rashfords ability, profile, performances right now.

Yep and you've predictably jumped on that bandwagon while sticking up for fvcking Antony
Just about sums you up.

Just spent 72M on a striker. Going to spend another 80M on Toney?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m sorry dude but Arsenal fans can’t comment on spending huge money

Can I say it as Spurs fan ?....."Just spent 72M on a striker. Going to spend another 80M on Toney?"

Given your recent track record...... United should be saved from themselves in terms of spending money.

United won't be buying Toney when they've just bought Hojlund and do Utd really want another questionable attitude anyway?
Be better off spending that on fullbacks imo.

If we get to January and are on something like 25 goals in 20 games and Hojlund hasn’t hit the ground running we may well do. Or at the very least try to bring another striker in.
