Nobody does it better. 😂
We came out in second half and we were battering them. We were playing some good football, making chances and they were all over the place at the back. Hojlund scores one and it's disallowed for offside. Rashford gets caught in two minds when through and another chances goes begging but still the attacks don't stop. The chances keep coming and eventually we take a much deserved lead with a marvellous goal from Hojlund, and what a player he looks too.
Step forward the Manchester Utd defence and keeper.....
I have seen some shockers in my time but my word that was one of the worst of the lot in that second half. They look so fragile. It's actually comical how bad it is. As for Onana.....well what can you even say at this point? He's made us worse which I didn't think was possible.
Our season ended with that Martinez reoccurrence of the metatarsal. Having Shaw and AWB out at the same time only compounds it too.
Season over in October and looking at some of the games we have before Jan 1st......there's no way this manager survives until May. We could lose 7/8 more games before Christmas quite easily.
Good luck to anyone brave enough to put their career on the line and come and take over this comedy club when he does get the boot. De Zerbi will be the favourite but if he had any sense he'd not even pick up the phone.
6 defeats in first 10 games. This is a new low even for the post Fergie era. I really don't see him pulling this back now and I want him to as he was the manager I wanted most after Ole.
We go again against Brentford. They will be licking their lips.
Snatching a defeat from the jaws of victory

GrOw uP.
Stop defending Rashford because he pulls a good season out of his backside every 3 years, sandwiching absolute mediocrity. He believes his own hype, but it’s bloody apparent he’s not half the player he thinks he is, or we want/need him to be.
How many more excuses do you want to make for him? The criticism isn’t ever based on just one game. It’s the compound effect, and even if he’s not the worst on the pitch in a specific game it’s yet another game in which we can point to his performance and argue he’s cost us.

They were mostly players we needed at the time though from what I can remember.
My memory's a little hazy though, and I can't be bothered to go and look it up but I'm sure we bought a lot of those players for positions we were weak in
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Needed? All mercenaries! They stick out as names rather than what we needed. Di Maria was the biggest mercenary going, the rat!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, we still need a player in those positions. Memphis delay was another one.
Also define mercenary.... most players are mercenaries. It's the way football works.

So most who play for Guardiola and City are mercenaries?
Those who played for Fergie?
😆

Definition: "primarily concerned with making money at the expense of ethics"
Some play purely for money, some play for the project or the manager.
Utd pay some of the highest wages in world footy, we rarely attract first choice targets because they are attracted by the Guardiolas and Klopss irrespective of money.
Likes of Fergie and Wenger attracted players who wanted to play for them first and foremost.
People like Di Maria played for us because we offered stupid money and nothing else, his wife went of record to make that point in the media recently!

So grealosh on 300k a week.
Kalvin Philips 150+
Stones on 200+
Silva who was on 300k.
De Brunei 400k.
You think if these lot were on low salaries they would be hanging around mate ?
They have no ties to city, believe me. If their salaries were halved they would be off in no time.
Philips is on the bench 24/7. Not a mercenary no?
Salah
Van dijk
Thiago
All on huge money. Mercenaries mate and would be off the first chance they got if they didn't get so much money.

Look at all the fackin players who have facked off to Saudi. Why?
Mercenaries, big pay outs, huge salaries.
Again, mercenaries with no tie to anything but making the most money possible.
Nearly all footballers these days are mercenaries.
The days of scholes, Giggs, Gerrard, etc are gone.
Yes we have rashford, city have foden, but they are rare.
