In the midst of the gloom from yesterday I think it's worth taking a moment to appreciate what a good game Rasmus had up front.
He led the line well, was quick and direct, and provided a couple of really good finishes. Three if you count the offside one.
He still needs refining of course but we may well have a No9 at last that can do great things for us. In a funny way us being in transition (is that being kind perhaps!) will help as the pressure won't be as big on him as it would if we were going for titles. This spell will certainly be character building for him and it does seem he's made of the right stuff.
Let's hope he develops like it seems he could do and be our No9 for the best part of the next decade. It was just a shame for him last night that his performance was overshadowed by the scoreline.

He's already managed more goals for us than Weggy!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like Weggy hasn’t scored a prem goal either.

Surely he must’ve scored one or two for Burnley

So early in his Old Trafford career and he's already scored an imperfect hat-trick: header, left-foot, disallowed.

All league goals for Burnley are registered as Endsleigh League goals regardless of which division the club is in at the time.

He was brilliant. Power, pace, hold up, finishing, pressing and he should have had a fantastic assists to his name in the opening minutes had Bruno not absolutely Bruno'ed it.

Looks a good player to me. A rare sensible buy from United.

One of the few positives at the moment, excited to see how he progresses.
Just a shame how our poor defending cost him the headlines.

Guy looks extremely good already, u guys may finally have solved the CF issue.
As an Arsenal fan i'd love him to be in our team as the main CF. Pure pace, powerful and looks to have decent skills on him too.
Noticed it the the game at the emirates where we was dueling with Gabriel who is no slouch.

Reminiscent of Halaand and Van Nistelrooy when he's in full flow - defenders just bounce off and get left in his wake. Looks a really good finisher too.
