I just feel really bad for him, to be honest.
At least he's a United fan, so we're all suffering with him in that regard.
It does seem like we got it right with this particular signing though. Early days yet but he appears to have all the right attributes.
Unfortunately his performance was left in the shadows of our embarrassing defending.

It was hard to Justify that defending really.
The way he turned the defender without really doing much for the offside goal was class, came so naturally to him whilst under pressure too.
Arguably the best number 9 display from a Utd player since RVP days.
Think Ronaldo probably went close once or twice too tbf but What we saw last night was the full package.
Shame our defence and keeper spoiled his big night.
That's why I stated earlier that possibly the best thing we can do these next few weeks is try and get a solid 6 in defence and midfield and have runners off the No9. Pack the team with energy and get it in the mixer. I think that may have been the plan last night apart from the brain farts that led to the goals and red card/penalty.
Three very good and very different, thoughtful finishes.
You may have a player there.

Literally a day after Varane called out the attackers too
Imagine Hojlund with Giggs Scholes and Beckham behind him, obviously when they were in their prime not now.
He'd be scary good.
I loved everything about Hojlund's performance, the strength, the holdup play, the awareness and link up play. But above all what impressed me most was his running and being in the right place at the right time. His main issue is the lack of quality service, improve this and he will score for fun.
He is also a press machine!

The defence was certainly Guilty last night.
He's already managed more goals for us than Weggy!

Surely he must’ve scored one or two for Burnley
So early in his Old Trafford career and he's already scored an imperfect hat-trick: header, left-foot, disallowed.

All league goals for Burnley are registered as Endsleigh League goals regardless of which division the club is in at the time.
He was brilliant. Power, pace, hold up, finishing, pressing and he should have had a fantastic assists to his name in the opening minutes had Bruno not absolutely Bruno'ed it.
Looks a good player to me. A rare sensible buy from United.
One of the few positives at the moment, excited to see how he progresses.
Just a shame how our poor defending cost him the headlines.

Don’t worry, he won’t.
Guy looks extremely good already, u guys may finally have solved the CF issue.
As an Arsenal fan i'd love him to be in our team as the main CF. Pure pace, powerful and looks to have decent skills on him too.
Noticed it the the game at the emirates where we was dueling with Gabriel who is no slouch.
Reminiscent of Halaand and Van Nistelrooy when he's in full flow - defenders just bounce off and get left in his wake. Looks a really good finisher too.
