I find it quite amusing the hype around Arsenals quite lucky win over City with a deflection
Spurs have beaten Man City no less than 9 times since Arsenal last beat them. That’s right, nine. Including knocking them out of a champions league quarter final
We are now expected to believe Arsenal will win the title because of this famous victory. Even that gimp Piers Morgan getting in on the hype - saying “spurs won’t last they will crumble like always “ errrrr if that’s not the pot calling the kettle black i don’t know what is, Arsenal have bottled a top 4 spot and a title in spectacular fashion last 2 years alone.
And I’m not getting ahead of myself on our current situation either, we of course won’t win the league but top 4/5 looking doable. But as for Arsenal - look you’ve luckily beaten city when they are down and without key players, doesn’t mean you’re all that same as we weren’t all that when we beat them regularly last 7 years

I don’t get why any Spurs fan is trying to put Arsenal down. Hell, I hope they’re playing the best they ever have, and played some top opposition in the process and they look likely title contenders.
Because guess what? We’re ahead of them in the league and drew at their gaff.
Yes it’s very early days, but give credit where it’s due, because ultimately, we’re ahead of them.

Can’t begrudge arsenal for celebrating their somewhat lucky win against a weakened city side. Fair play to them, it’s small margins that can win titles.

This is such a lazy statement to make they are missing two players one of those is a long term injury so its not like they've been caught by surprise with that one. If your gonna mention those two players how about no Saka, Martinelli hadn't played for a month before coming on at halftime, Partey not been available since August, Timber out since the opening day of the season. At least be balanced for both sides.

Also it wasn't lucky considering City should have been down to 10 mid way through the first half.

Best to ignore what baz says about arsenal, he's still jealous arsenal signed Rice.

I guess you can't begrudge Man Utd celebrating a somewhat lucky win against a much weakened Brentford side. Fair play to them, it's small margins that can get the Europa Conference place.

But you have a rapist in the team, so he’s used to doing ok when he gets no action for a while.

No one said anything when we missed key players playing against them last season.
Partey in the home tie and Saliba in the away tie

Plus most are failing to mention we were missing Saka & Timber for this one and Martinelli/Partey were not really match fit and could only come on after half time.
