on a serious note. I've no problem with the good people who believe in a God, if it helps then in life, brilliant, or if it keeps them on the straight and narrow, brilliant, well done.

but for a war to break out, millions killed, over a religious belief? - really? - for me, an atheist, that just seems like the pointless waste of time and human life ever, does it not you?

Also, I struggle to see past the actual facts. the reason humans are humans is we evolved from chimps, agree or disagree? - because that's a fact. now if that is fact. How can say Christianity be correct?

Also, is it not a bit of a coincidence that peoples religious beliefs are the same as the people who are born in the same country?

who's right then? - which part of the world utterly nailed it, and the rest are putting their faith in a God that doesn't exist?

religion's main role in society is to keep people and society as whole on the straight & narrow

without it, as has been seen since the West became secularised, morality becomes much looser and people find new things to judge their lives & self worth by....that being in the modern era material wealth and accumulation of possessions

Monothesis religions in particular (such as the Abrahamic ones) control sexuality and sexual morals in a society
