Just scored from his own half.
13 goals and 7 assists In 14.
We should have broke the bank for him.

I’m sure he would have if the price was right. For what we paid for Mount and Hojlund combined (I think around £130 million ?) Levy would have sold to us and we’d likely have more than 11 league goals now.

We’re paying the price for not buying a decent striker and buying a guy who looks like he might be good one day but not good enough now. Very very bizarre transfer strategy.

He wouldn’t have sold him to Utd. Selling him to Bayern suited everyone. For Kane to have gone to Utd, or any other English club, he’d have had to run down his contract and go on a free so that he was the villain and not Levy. Let’s be honest, Kane is too good for Utd nowadays.

Robb Levy wouldnt have sold Kane to any English club.
Ace gets it. Apart form the too good for United bit. The facts are that Kane was too good for Spurs. Which was Levys problem.

Everybody has a price. With a year to go and going for ‘just’ £89 million he may well have gone to us for £120 million or something like that.
If we didn’t even try I’d be very annoyed. Either way, Kane or no Kane we severely messed up by not bringing in a top striker or even someone like Watkins who would be far better than what we have.

There is no guarantee that Kane would improve United. He scored like 30 goals for Spurs last season, and they finished eighth. The reason that Spurs have improved so much is that they have purchased four or five new players that have all produced in their first season. Kane has all but been forgotten at WHL this season.

We finished third without a recognised centre forward of any note. He would have improved us.

Add Kane and straight away, teams would be far more cautious against United.
Then add his ability to score and create and we would have been a far far better team than we are now.

Yeah the new players and the little thing of having a new manager with a completely different style of football. That little thing also helped improve us.
