Fall out with Varane now apparently

Obviously we don't know the guy but everything you read about Varane is that he's this gentle giant of a man who wouldn't say boo to a goose and is ultra professional. Yes he's hampered by injury but that's not something he can really do much about.

If Erik has fallen out with him now too then I'm sorry but it's not a good luck on him at all.

Ronaldo we got on board with, Maguire being stripped off captaincy we got on board with, DDG there was a split with some wanting him to stay and others just wanting him to have a better send off than he was afforded but overall fair enough time to go.

Now we have Sancho and possibly Varane. Personally I back the manager on the Sancho front but if we now have the ultimate professional in Varane falling out with him then how many more excuses can there be?

He can't identify the right players to sign. He can't get the team playing entertaining football and he's not managing them well either.

He's a dead man walking isn't he? Real shame as he was my first pick for after Ole. Really thought he was on the right tracks too but my word this regression is way worse than I was expecting. Yeah we possibly overachieved a little last season and benefitted from the vermin, Chelsea and Spurs being poor.....but this drop off is quite something now.

I reckon he's got 2/3 more games now. Be amazed if he survives the international break.

Not keen on Conte at all. I'd definitely stick with ETH over him and hope he gets us playing again.

Yeah that’s why part of me actually wouldn’t mind him. The drama would be amazing.

More exciting than what we see on the pitch!

Conte would be pretty hilarious though if he had a meltdown against the owners!

I'd be happy enough to watch you end the season strongly, spend 200m on wingbacks in the summer only for Conte to lose his mind when you won't spend another 100m and storm out at the start of the season leaving Lampard to come in as interim.

Will that make Arsenal win a trophy?

Arteta must be delighted about the Utd result. The serial trophy bottler has almost got away with it today in the media thanks to our most recent collapse.

Why doesn't he try and win the Carabao Cup given City were already knocked out? I don't get it. City could quite easily retain the PL and most likely will do.

Pep got knocked out last round so Arteta figured it was the next managerial innovation and embraced it.

Every time we finish 2nd or 3rd it's because other teams have been crap. That never gets mentioned about any other team. We never get recognition for our achievements, it's because other teams weren't good enough.
That being said, this regression has gone too far. You can't have a manager spening 400m and then saying he doesn't have the players to implement his vision. It's delusional. He's picking the players! He's dictating the signings!

400m spent by the "club", what's wrong with Eth asking for more? the spine of the team is missing. Do you think our FBs are good enough? Wide players? CB? The 9 he asked the club recruit is the bare minimum.

Pep spent hundreds of millions on CBs alone in order to achieve a particular playing objective.

What I mean is that if it's going to get bad I want it to get real bad for the Glazers.
