Agree, was just sarcastically putting it out there. I think I’d bring in Gnonto, push Summerville up front and keep Lord Badform on the bench.

You want to move the best player in the league, who’s in great form, to play upfront, even though he looks, smells and plays like a winger ?

This is more about some people's anti-Bamford agenda than what's in the interest of the club.
We are where we are, PB is a Leeds player, strikers are form creatures and he needs minutes to capture some sort of form. It is in nobodies interest for him to be languishing on the bench getting minutes here and minutes there. All that does is further damage.
Bamford will be needed at some point during the season unless Piroe's avoiding the ball completely is a masterstroke to avoid any form of injury.
He needs to start, this is the ideal opportunity.

what ever your feelings on Bamford, its better for the team to play, rather than swap players out of their position.

On a positive note, Paddy was not involved in internationals so no freshness issues there.

(Am slightly concerned about those that played Tuesday night.)

Rutter doesn't play as a striker though really hes more of a false 9. He doesn't play anything like Bamford.

I like Bamford but hes never been the same since that serious injury he had. People act like hes still the same player as he was under Bielsa and be will just score a goal and it will be like the Bielsa era all over.

Summerville has played 10 before not like its new 🤷‍♂️

To act like we are idiots for holding a different opinion is not really on.

Summerville starting before Bamford is modern football.
He's quicker than Bamford.
He's a better finisher than Bamford.
He has more confidence than Bamford.
I wouldn't bet against him jumping higher than Bamford.
Summerville is in the form of his life, he might hit a hat-trick starting up front.
The only reason Bamford starts tonight for me is that it is Rotherham, playoff final at Wembley am I starting Bamford...no way! That's not anti-Bamford just common sense.
