i think you will find that the situations regarding modric and fabregas were SO different this summer, and that may have had something to do with the "valuations" on their heads.

I'm not sure that the monetary value attributed by the club which owns the player is a good indicator of how good a player is.

I happen to think that Modric is excellent and certainly currently better than Wiltshere, but by your logic Robinho would at least as good as Modric seeings as City bought him for over £30m!

Besides, the title of most overrated player must surely be held by Gareth 'I played well against Inter Milan' Bale?

I agree with what you said but imo robinho was overrated and PL was too much for him. Gareth is a brillian footballer but i dont think he knows how to use his pace at the right time.
