Understandably, we fans get frustrated and annoyed when Celtic donβt perform. At least BR has woken up to the fact that treating them with kid gloves is not always the best way.
That said, when you look to a year ago we had the following players in our side:
Jota, Starfelt, Maeada, Hatate, Abada and GG
We have a lot of quality missing at present and it shows the current crop are not up to it. Yes Maeda, Hatate and Abada will be back in a month or so but we are still short of better quality.
We have all known that for some time so the sooner we buy quality players and get rid of dross the better.
Playing with half a team missing

You could ask why does pretty much every club in the developed football world usually have some former employees or 'club minded' people in their coaching, backroom, boardroom and ambassador roles?

This debate is bonkers
What evidence do you have that they are not performing as the club would want ? And please don't say the influx to first team
Doak left to join Liverpool
Borland joined Villa recently for £1.2M
Liam Morrison is on the fringes of first team football at Bayern Munich
Josh Adam is one of the brightest talents now at Man City
So we do produce talent
It's keeping them that's the issue
And saying things like why Odea and McManus is just splatter gun , you have no reason to say it . Unless you do and you're just not conveying it

I think my points quite obvious tbh.
Strachans boy - job
lawwells boy - job
need two youth coaches, do we search for the right ones or appoint 2 ex players we think might be alright?
when we need these roles filled do you think we go and try and identify the best we can get or do you think it's a case of "he'll do"?
again - thats how you end up with Lennon appointed in the showers.
it's laziness that says "ange is away, who shall we appoint?"
"want to see who's available"
"could just offer it to brendan again?"
"aye just do that"

To be fair brendan was probably best the candidate at the time but it hasnt worked out.
Cant blame the board though as he is an elite level manager at our price range.

Too early to judge. Let’s wait ‘til after the January window and see if we can progress to win the league and Scottish Cup. If we don’t then we should sack BR π

Ooh, some bear level entitlement right there.
He wins the league then he stays.
He wins neither he almost certainly goes.
Performances start affecting the attendance then it is a matter of time too.
Pretty much everything else is noise

Agreed - money talks so BR walks if attendances go down

I don't think attendances will drop to such significant levels. Yes we may have 50k on some games like tomorrow night when people choose warmth over boredom. However we will not drop crowds the way they did under Strachan and hit their lowest under Deila - there are too many on the waiting list desperate to get in to the stadium

Yeah but there can be no doubt his football will be putting punters off.
For weeks now its been the same old boring rubbish and even worse is bringing on subs like Mikey johnston, Jamie forrest and david turnbull when chasing a game.
We signed a load of midfielders in the summer and he is bringing on these guys.
