given more time ?
Purely out of interest and nothing to do with today's match. Was he hard done by given that he got to a Europa League Final in the months before getting sacked ?
Would Emery have succeeded at Arsenal

Yeah he’s better than Lego head

I don't think so, the players completely stopped trying for him.

There is no expectation at Villa whereas he was under pressure to get results at Arsenal and PSG. That's the difference!

No, Arsenal were in a limbo at the top and had no idea of strategy to implement. Emery from sounds of it didn’t get the support he wanted (besides transfers), players didn’t respect him all that much so it wasn’t a good mat h at all.

Considering how long the Arsenal board have given Arteta (and Wenger actually), not giving a f*ck what the fans thought along the way, it's very believable to think the players had a serious problem with him & thus his position was untenable.

I think we may have won a Europa had he had more time

Emery missed out to clean the dressing room from the bad apples.

I would say yes for surer. No doubting he is a good good manager

Hindsight’s a wonderful thing. It just wasn’t working for him at Arsenal like it didn’t work at PSG. He couldn’t handle big egos and his English wasn’t good enough at the time.

People forget how a mess the club has been for years, even from the Wenger days, it was toxic and had cliches, people leaking things to the press, indiscipline, etc. Arteta cleared that up and just bought a great culture to the club and bought us fans closer to the club also.
Emery just isn't that sort of manager or character
If Emery came into the club today, then he would do well, but we were right to let him go when we did.
