Amazing how last weekend was somehow so much better.
The Good: Toffolo and Williams. The tenacity of Williams was superb.
The Bad: The bar...damn you bar! It might have been offside.
The Ugly: Ah Toffolo...you were superb and could have had two....oh so close!
Special Mention: It smells like team spirit! Kouyate and Mangala also stood out.
The Last Time we played (Spurs (A) - a 3-1 loss):
Navas
Aurier Felipe Worrall Lodi
Freuler Mangala Shelvey
MGW Lingard
Johnson
Proposed Lineup:
Turner
Williams Boly Niakhate Murillo Toffolo
Kouyate Mangala Yates
MGW
Elanga
If Kouyate and Murillo are injured, draft in Danilo and Felipe.
Subs:
Vlachula, Felipe, Aina, CHO, Danilo, Dominguez, Sangare, Origi, Wood
With a back three we night just pick up a point...or three!
Injuries:
Aurier and Awoniyi.
Laughing @ Derby:
Hennessy, McKenna, Omobamidele, Worrall, Montiel, Tavares, Aguilera and Santos
Form:
Forest (H) - W1 D3 L2 GF8 GA8 - 16th (15th in the Home Form table)
Spurs (A) - W2 D2 L1 GF14 GA10 - 5th (3rd in the Away Form table)
Spurs are LLLDLW (smashing Newcastle 4-1 in their last game..the draw was against City)
Prediction:
Cooper is here to stay! Even a loss won't see him leave...which is only fair as we are unlikely to beat Spurs.
I'd snap your hand off for a draw and a poor Johnson game / own goal...then refusing to sit on their bench...and instead sitting on ours!
A nervy 1-1 draw again.
Final Words:
COYRs!!!!

Keep living in the past you old goats. Like Villa, your fans singing about a trophy you won in the last century is as desperate as your current form 😂.
Again, thank you for the three points. Merry Xmas and peace to all old men.

Better an old goat, than a gloating scrote!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Better to have three points, rather than singing about a trophy you won 50 odd years ago 👍🏻
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maths is not your strong point, is it?
At least we have a past that we can live in. How many years is it since Spurs won a trophy?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't go embarassing yourself. We have 8 more major titles than you and have won a trophy in 2008. You last won in 1989 or something. Your a tin pot club.
Your stadium is falling down as well.

Just got back from the match.
Imo Spurs won the match because of two major factors, other than the two goals of course, first you have a better centre forward than us, second you have a better keeper, those two apart there wasnt that much in the game.
Both defences are way below par, yes i understand you have a couple of key defenders missing, but you were far from convincing tonight.
Upfront, Richardson does what Richardson does, scores with a header, you know that i know that, just try and tell the Forest centre halves that.
You going down to ten men made no difference, though i thought we had a strong shout for a penalty, that VAR didn’t even look at.
Congrats on the win, I’d be surprised if you made the top four at the end of the season, though I’d be surprised if we managed to stay up.
Good luck and well done on a solid professional performance.
One other thing, the standard of refereeing is absolutely atrocious, but at least its consistent.

It's no good spending a fortune on players who have no Premier League experience and then expecting instant results.
We will be very lucky not to fill the third relegation spot. If Marinakis gets rid of Cooper and the results don't improve large parts of the crowd are likely to turn on Marinakis.
At the worst we all know that Steve Cooper knows how to get promoted from the Championship playing attacking football. Given time and competitive players used to the pace of the EPL he will do a good job, we have all seen that.
We stayed up last season because of Navas in goal, two quality C/H's and Brennan's pace up front coupled with Awoniyi's hold up play.
Marinakis needs to stop buying players who are not good enough and/or can't take the pace of the game.
Unless Awoniyi comes back soon 4th from bottom will start to look like a let off, but will they learn?

Thought the officials got all the big calls right last night.
No doubt in my mind there are three worse teams than Forest in the league this season. A defeat to a team littered with top internationals shouldn’t be taken out of context.
Forest should stick with Cooper.

Williams ran into a Udogie, thats certainly not how i saw it, Udogie made NO attempt to play the ball and literally ran straight through Williams, anywhere else on the pitch that is a foul, no doubt, VAR never even checked it, imo i thought it was a penalty, but that’s my opinion.
I also agree with the comment above, ref three worse teams than Forest, but they are showing much more passion than us, and that is what saved us last season.
One last point, it wasn’t only the ref who was poor/indecisive the assistant was just as bad.
Good luck for the rest of the season, i like Ange, his football is what i would like to see us playing, the difference is, you can afford to spend big money on big players, we are still a league behind in that respect, we are trying to catch up, but its a big gap to cross.

Apologies for not setting this live. My bad. Please drop me a fresh complainant if I'm sloppy.
