I’ve been lucky enough to get a ticket for this game .
Any decent boozers for away fans near the ground?
Read Nottinghamshire live and it seems your fans don’t rate your attack at all without Awoniyi - Wood in particular singled out for criticism. I rate MGW highly though, a player I would like at Spurs and Elanga is good also - but those 2 don’t have much around them to help create chances.
We will play very open though and look to take the game to you which will leave lots of spaces that can be exploited

A classic banana hazard - years gone by if we got a draw we wold have taken it on the onset.
Hoping for a good game and 3 points, even if it is by odd goals.
I can see Johnson turning up massively for this one.
May the best team win!!
Fully expect a home win here.
Spurs are in freefall and will surely drop back down to mid table in the coming weeks.
Ignore the anomaly that was their recent win against Newcastle, they were playing a team that are running on fumes and have multiple injuries to key players. Everton beat them 3-0 FFS!
2-0 Forest
What kind of Forest can we expect on Friday? To my mind you've always looked a difficult game at the City Ground but then everyone keeps talking about poor form and Cooper being in trouble but you've got 14 points and are 5 clear of the relegation zone. I don't know what the owner expects, particularly after selling Johnson.
What's the main issue? Are you leaky at the back? Injuries? Bad management? It's hard to know what we'll face but I do think you're at your best on the transition. Counter attacking football against the best teams, particularly at home, has seen you pick up a lot of unexpected points and against us you'll be amazed at the space you'll have on the turnover. When we lose the ball in midfield, our full backs tend to be out of position so you should get joy in the channels. I think this is gonna be a really, really tricky game for us. Heart says away win but head says draw or loss.

Care to put a wager on tomorrow’s result then, let’s say £100: Money going to winners charity of choice? Admin can be the arbitrator.
If the loser fails to pay up they agree to remove themselves from this site until June 2024.
Not sure why I am bothering though, because I know you will:
a) Not take the bet
b) Not honour it either

Some scathing "witticisms" here from the more mature Spurs posters. Upsetting stuff indeed.
meanwhile, back to the thread.
We played Spurs twice at home last season, a comfortable 2-0 for them early doors, and a good win for us in the cup.
As for tomorrow who knows which version of either side will show up, if the best of both appear, it could be an excellent game, with Spurs nicking it, as their best is still better than ours.
On the other hand the game could be absolutely pitiful, though i doubt 0-0, neither team seem that good at defending.
We are usually better at home, though the last two home games would make it appear otherwise.
As with most games this season. not only with Forest, i have no real idea what to expect, other than BJ will get a great reception from the home fans, even if he were to score the winner, i doubt they'd boo him, rightly so.
Hopefully Coops, will employ the starting eleven from the Wolves match, and again make some useful changes later on, though he could bring Sangare back in , probably for Kouyate.
Apparently Spurs haven't conceded from a set play this season, and i doubt we've scored from one, so we'll probably get our goal for a corner or free kick, and there's will be likewise.
Keep BJ and Son quiet and we have a chance, yet again the first goal will be crucial, and hopefully if we score it we won't try and sit back and defend, rather attack and go for a second, as stated earlier, our defence is not exactly watertight.
I'd like to go for an optimistic 2-1 home win, but in reality I'll go for a 1-1 with the hope of a good home performance, mainly to give confidence for the upcoming Bournemouth game.

Good and fair point from your side. In my view, having watched us under Ange and know that Ange demands 100% effort and non stop front foot actions, I think we will be turning up - thank you very much
I think we may take the points courtesy of 2-0 or 3-1 pro job - in my very humble view/

Time to get serious.
Much improved last week but Wolves are not spurs. How long can we stay in the game? Can we exploit spurs’ high line the way we did against Villa?
I think spurs might have too much genuine quality (Porro, Kulusevski, Son et al). Can they match our endeavour?

2-0 Forest

Care to put a wager on tomorrow’s result then, let’s say £100: Money going to winners charity of choice? Admin can be the arbitrator.

Not sure why I am bothering though, because I know you will:
a) Not take the bet
b) Not honour it either

If you know I won't take the bet or honour it either, it would be a pretty moronic thing to do to offer it.........
Oh, wait a minute! ...............

I knew you not accept because you are so predictable but thought I might you the benefit of the doubt, but thanks for proving me right👍

Do you want to have a little lie down and try that again Moron?
Or write it again in your first language and I will use Google translate 😂😂

Time to get serious.
Much improved last week but Wolves are not spurs. How long can we stay in the game? Can we exploit spurs’ high line the way we did against Villa?
I think spurs might have too much genuine quality (Porro, Kulusevski, Son et al). Can they match our endeavour?
