Rasmus

That chance right there could’ve seen him hit the ground running today, such an awful miss. Garnacho was a facking donkey too and could’ve got us a goal.

Have to say though the boys stood up for the badge today, despite the ref having a hard on for them all game we probably had our best performance at Anfield since that Mata wonder goal.

You have to give the lad a break, he’s only 20 and still to score in the PL. His confidence is obviously low and that affects all strikers in situations like that.

The bigger issue for me is a club our size being so reliant on someone so young and inexperienced for such a key position. I’m sure he’ll improve but games like today aren’t the ones we should be scrutinising him on.

He hasn’t scored a single PL goal this season and we are nearly into a new year. He should have scored today.

Just saw Hojlund chance again and a simple pass was on as well for a tap in.

You think he misses “a sitter” every week. He doesn’t. We don’t create sitters.

Don’t know who this OP is but he’s clearly doesn’t understand the game either. Hojlund’s chance today was tricky - tight angle and the keeper and got out quick and made himself big. It was a rare nice move that created a decent chance for a striker. We know the lad can score as he has done in the CL.

Also, why are some posters acting as though he’s an established 27 year old CF? He’s a kid, in a new league, new country, had no pre season and in a team where the support cast are really, really poor. I didn’t expect him to come in and bang in loads of goals. We needed to sign another CF who is more established as well as Hojlund, and we should also have signed the guy banging goals in for West Ham from the team ETH used to manage.

If I can add too that there's no better keeper on one ve ones than Alisson either. He wins Pool so many points.

Whilst I agree with all of the above, how is a striker of any club not scoring in 13 games?

As I said he isn’t consistently getting chances, so the pressure is mounting every chance he does get. If he were missing as many as Nunez week in week out I’d be more concerned.

I’m praying Ratcliffe gets things over the line and we’re able to bring in a midfielder and striker in January.

Missed all 9 big chances he has had. I just realised our undrawable run ended today.

It’s daft we spent so much on this bloke. Even Burnley, Luton and Sheffield United have strikers that have scored in the prem.

All the players we bought in the last 2 years should've been bought for a quarter of their price.
Haaland went for 50 mill, Hoilund went for what, 70?

Wasn’t Haaland a £70m buyout clause?
