Just want Ange to learn....

I think main problem is we all know we have issues and need reinforcements … if they ever come and players to come back from injury. However what irks most of us is we just cannot seem to lose 1-0 or 2-1 and think we were just unlucky. Instead its always a major drama…


We are a work in progress once again and we have to accept it for what it is. Ange can onlly do what he can with the players he has. Hopefully Levy will help him ….. i doubt it but we can dream the dream

Lo Celso and Veliz for a start, but that is stating the bleeding obvious. Lo Celso would be in for PEH for me from the start.

Son has too many nothing games to be captain, but called that from the start.

Also, the amount of off side goals, surely some coaching for this. I know that's a bit harsh,but so frustrating.

No manager is above constructive criticism and the blind following no questions asked, follow the process attitude is mind boggling.

No one is saying Ange out, you'd think I was banging for his removal from some of these reactions.

DOH! Yes I have, also the suspensions.

My opinion tonight, PEH /Sarr/Kulu not working. 3-0 down. Make a change earlier.

From my past articles, you would know I hate any Midfield with PEH in it. He runs around, throws himself to the ground when tackled and normally can't put a 5 yard pass together. Sits too deep and when he takes the ball from centre back, gives it straight back.

Brennan was more of an issue tonight. Run at and commit men. He was clean through and still checked back.

I'm gonna say something that will put the cat amongst the pigeons. Looking forward to Son being away, so others get the chance, hopefully Veliz, maybe even Dane (though loan not gone well).

I just want alternative tactics when the situation or players dictate.

Four full backs and PEH fall into both the descriptions above.

Also, a little worried about in game management

What does it say that if when facing adversity the manager caves in on his tactics and starts parking the bus.

For me there were several notable things in that game which show the problems we currently have.

First was their ability to easily launch a long ball from the GK over the entire team, and gain either a xhance or strong attacking position up field. Without our dominating CBs of Cuti and VDV, this is an easy target for the opposition. No one to attack those long balls and no pace to deal with their attacker. I would have been tempted to drop 5 yards or so, a small tweak, to deal with this constant threat and that is where I would perhaps criticise the tactics.

Richy's inability to stay onside is an issue. 2 really good goals well taken chalked off for basic errors. It cost us soo much. His 2nd would have put us 2-1 down and 1 munite later it was 3-0. Massive moment in the game and I think he was subbed almost immediately which said to me that Ange wad really pissssed off with him because he actually played well other than the offsides but his basic errors cost us massively.

We've lost a lot of quality in the transition. Emerson/Davies passing out to PEH through to Deki, is not a patch on Romero/VdV to Biss/Bentancur to Maddison. We cannot operate at the same level offensively. We are more easily pressed with the more limited technical players who have stepped in and we are losing control in games as a result, looking way more open. Decent teams will play on this and whereas before our play through the middle in transition was feared, that is not the case and teams are more willing to have a go at us.

I want us to continue to play the way we are but we need to show much better quality in the last 3rd. We of course need reinforcements and players back.
