Where are the admins?

Personally I think the Football Live thread strikes the right balance between silly puns, in-jokes, and even sillier puns

It’s not a football live thread like the old one used to be, you can’t get any proper match discussion going on there, the likes of Forza and Barry have seen to that.

That's not what happened

DJ was absolutely the wrong person for a live football thread for all members of the site. Although you did good at updating with fixtures, you were the problem. Stifling any sort of creativity, jokes and light hearted fun just because you're an old bore was unfair on our members. You turned it into a dictatorship due to the way you are. You were ultimately the wrong person for the job in the end. Needed to be a bit more open and chilled like the admins of this site are.

Sadly the site has gone from a sports discussion forum to a mumsnet type one. Admins even made a board for TV/film but we still get loads of film/TV articles on football pages. Some people literally have a random thought and post it as an article.
Then there is the issue of people making new articles on topics that already have a recent article on. You end up with loads of articles with few comments, or multiple articles with the same argument on each.

Shame.
