These next 10 fixtures look absolutely crucial for us getting Champions league football:
Home:
Brentford
Wolves
Brighton
Forest
Luton
Away:
Everton
Palace
West Ham
Villa
Fulham
I think we’re capable of winning 8 of those, especially now we’re returning to a full strength squad. The Villa and West Ham games - would happily grind out draws in both to keep them (hopefully in Villa’s case) behind us.
We have no other distractions now, no need to rest, no fixture pile ups, just pure focus on the league and ensuring we finish positively and get CL football again.
The next 10

Christ, some of the stuff I've seen let go on here is nuts if THAT's the low bar for offence.

I think if someone complains then admin more or less is obligated remove it, and there are folk on here who like to complain about me for things they wouldn’t complain about if someone else said it.
I’ve said many a time, a few near the knuckle phrases or words here and there is nowhere near as damaging to people’s experience of using the forum as the absolute incessant wummery - articles and thread derailing - of certain idiotic members.

Ace's comments right on the mark as usual about ASIA and AFCON
I mentioned on Sizzle's "now that the dust has settled" article yesterday that the next 10 games were crucial (as is every game of course) but in my opinion, with a full squad and playing the best 11 every game we should be looking to win 8 of those 10 games.
The other teams around us will have distraction involving CL, Ropey and FAC as well as PL commitments and we need to capitalise on this to keep the pressure up. After all we can now only play a maximum of 41 games this season.
The next 4 games after those 10 with make or break our season.....
Newcastle away
City Home
Arsenal Home
Liverpool away
4 killer games but back in 2010 when we were neck and neck with City for 4th spot we had Arsenal, Chelsea and City within 10 days and walked away with 9 points. Not suggesting for one moment we will repeat, but 24+ points from the next 10 games will see us right up there.
The final 2 games are Burnley at home and Sheff Utd away, both of whom will most likely be relegated by then
Anyway roll on Everton this weekend

Yeah Liverpool away is the only one I look at and think “not a chance”. We have a ridiculous record against City, it’s not unusual for us to beat Arsenal at our ground and they could be in full meltdown for missing out on title again by then. Newcastle away - Forest won 3-0 up there at Xmas, they aren’t the same side as last season.
We also will have the Chelsea away game rescheduled, as schitt as they are these days they will be bang up for that and we usually get turned over at Stamford Bridge.
Villa, Chelsea and Liverpool away - 1 point I reckon.
City and Arsenal at home - 3 points minimum.
4 from those 5 would give us 44 - you would imagine 70 will get a CL spot if it goes down to 5th place. So we would need 9 wins from the other 12 games or 8 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats. I fancy us to get it done.

Would like to think that admin would factor in if the complainant is a Spurs fan or not, considering this is an article on the Spurs board about Spurs and your comment was mostly about Spurs.
If it’s a Wolves/West ham or Arsenal fan complaining then that should be taken into account

I don't think those four games will make and break our season. If we can get 8 wins out of the 10 fixtures that you list then even if we only get a couple of points from those four games, we will still be in an excellent position to get top 4.

Good opportunity for our front three (whoever plays) to build up their goals and assist stats.

Let’s hope so!! . Out of those 4 tough games what points tally would you expect? I’m think 5! 1 win 2 draws and a loss

5-7 points from those four games I reckon
Newcastle….draw or win …..massively over rated for me
City ….draw
Arsenal…..win
Liverpool….loss

With the squad soon to be returning to full strength and nothing but the league to focus on, it will be a failure to not get top 4 from here. We saw how good the team was before the injury crisis, it went on a long unbeaten run. We since added to it as well with a new CB and another option up front, albeit one that isn't going to take anyone's breath away.
