Rasmus

Mainoo got all the praise and rightly so.
But I do love Rasmus.
First off, a ninety minute trier.
Fast, tough.
Loves playing for us.
Knows where the goal is.
I can see him having a great career with us.

it often seems that the players who do have the 'weggy mentality' are the ones we as the supporters think are not good enough.. and the ones that we think are, probably dont give a crap about United.

Spot on

Fergie always said that the first question he asked about a potential player recruitment was... 'does he actually, really, want to play his football for Manchester United above any other club'?

And as Sir Matt told his potential aquisitions... don't worry too much initially about the money, beacause as a Manchester United player you don't have to chase the money. The money will chase you.'

There is some on here that think 35 year old journeyman Eric Choupo Moting is a better option.

I think if we can get the ball into the right areas he will score goals. Really like Rasmus, not sure if he’s a striker who will fire us to titles but a good player and a sure fan favourite for years to come.

Absolutely

The hyperbole surrounding Mainoo, an average performance by, yet another bang average academy player, is kind of typical of current fandom.

We witnessed similar the night before from the over impressed 'fantwats' of Lancashire's second most successful league club.

Expect it from the followers of lesser clubs - and yes I'm beginning to expect it more and more from the less mature (more gullible) and over excited followers of MUFC.

Januzaj, Macheda, Obertan, Cleverley, Welbeck, Fletcher, Rashford etc - and let's never forget the garbage surrounding 'the twins' when the they were rolling about in the opposition half instead of pretending to be full backs - were all over hyped and at best average - and that's being generous.

Hojlund though does appear to be a genuine asset, just got to get the ball to him more often - it's all pretty basic stuff

That is the problem with United. Players we depend on like Rash Bruno and our 80m new striker probably arent good enough to actually win titles. Which is what Man united is all about.

I do vividly recall the time when we all believed Obertan and Macheda were world beaters in the making though.
