Saka or Foden

Who would you have in your team if you could only pick one?.

I may be a bit biased but think Saka is more productive. BUT I love Foden and his versatility/technique is incredible. Probably has a better chance to win Ballon D'Or compared to Saka, due to his style of play.

Southgate has the opportunity to start both for England. With Bellingham and Rice in the mix as well, this is another golden era. Too bad we have a negative manager who will probably start Philips and Henderson.

Foden for me for his versatility
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A tractor is more versatile than an F1 car but I'd probably still choose the F1 car for an F1 race cos it's better than the tractor at the main job I want it to do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Either way you're going to be delighted with your choice. It's like when you've finished your dinner at a nice place and you have a choice between a creme brulee or a cheesecake or a brownie. You're gonna have a great time whatever so it's down to personal taste
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but what if you preferred the taste of one as food, but the other could also be worn as a hat, so was more versatile, do you go with the tastier food, or the less tasty but also could be a hat food, for your dinner? That's all people are wanting to determine here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a tough one. I do get your point that Saka is probably more likely to score all the time. Could I eat the creme brulee custard before using the caramelized sugar layer as a hat?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the point is that you could maybe eat the dessert that you prefer first, and then if you need the 2nd dessert cos you are still hungry and your first dessert has melted, or it has started raining and the hat now seems very useful, then sub on Foden.

Yeah but if your first choice of dessert is so much better on the right side of the table that moving him to your placemat reduces the flavour but you have another dessert that's just as tasty whether it's on your lap or nearly getting knocked off by the waitress as she walks past I know what I'd choose. The cheesecake, obvs.

Saka is more versatile anyway so it doesn’t matter.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd like to see you try wearing him as a hat
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Saka’s nickname is Little Chilli, perfect for a nacho hat.

For City I agree and I’d have Foden every time. England currently, probably Saka.

Didn't know you were a farmer.

I think Saka is a wonderful player. He is without doubt one of the best players in the PL right now.

So is Foden. Foden has been managed superbly at City, right from when he joined as a kid. There’s a video on YouTube that talks about his development, how he has been developed, and how highly regarded he is within the club.

I would absolutely want Saka at City. But I wouldn’t if it meant sacrificing Foden. I suspect Arsenal fans would feel exactly the same in reverse.

England has two wonderful talents in these two players, and has them for many years to come. Others have posted other players such as Rice and Bellingham - two other players who are fantastic talents - who can form a formidable midfield/attacking midfield for England. Exciting times potentially with these four players in the international side. Hopefully they are all managed by the England coaches as well as they have clearly been by their club coaches.

Nice thought but we all know that's not going to happen

For a Liverpool system Saka. Would give us a similar type replacement for Salah. Foden however is the better player, for me.
