Following the Liverpool V City game yesterday, me and some pals got talking about their best 11s in comparison to Arsenals, and also Uniteds.
The conclusion was that player for player, our 1st 11 as individuals, the gap isnt as far off Liverpool, Citys and Arsenal's, as performances and achievements would suggest.
Does anyone agree?
First 11

In summary guys, I believe the major difference between us and those above us, is the managers, not the ability within the squads.

Why didn't you just say ten hag out

I'm not ETH out yet. I think the injuries are keeping him in the job, plus there is also the FA Cup still.

In summary, you're wrong, it's not. But you posted this with the answer you wanted already to go.

I think you mean you think I'm wrong. It's an opinion is all.

United's best IX is more than a match for LFC and AFC. Nowhere near MCFC though.
However, there are two problems (reflected in current league positions) with that state of affairs:
Firstly, injuries (which can't be helped) and is has occured in far more essential players for united than the others and;
Secondly, a lack of a recognition of the United style in the selection of the regular line-ups.
Players like mctominay, rashford, casemiro (at this stage in his career), dalot and lindelof should NEVER be starters - indeed the latter two are not good enough at ANY stage of the match.

crazy sh!t.
Liverpool have as good a squad as Man city and twice the squad as Man utd. They're no where near Arsenal either.

This thread
This is the same United that stuck 11 on the 18 yard box at Anfield then celebrated a 0-0 draw like they'd won the CL.

'Best IX' deserves a thread of its own.
