bit early to be drunk isnt it
Seriously?!!! FFS, not even close.
It doesn't even compare with our league cup winning team
Honestly, not really. I think individually City is ahead, and it's a testament to both Liverpool and Arsenal that they're keeping up. Individually I probably rate Arsenal's squad more than Liverpool slightly.
I think our front 3 of Rashford, Garnacho and Hojlund could be really amazing, but they still need to show it. Bruno is good, but not quite amazing level (I am talking KDB level) Mainoo is still young. the rest of our midfield isn't great. Onana a bit better recently but still not convinced by him, our strongest defence is probably Dalot, Shaw, Varane and Martinez. Martinez is good, everyone raves about him, but he still needs to prove it week in week out, Varane is slightly on the wane, Dalot is improving and Shaw is solid.
But then I look at the Liverpool squad and what Klopp gives them - they are more about the sum being greater than their parts, and their parts are good, but not way ahead of ours.
That's why when we talk about the players, and better ones required it's really the manager who gives them that final oomph and makes the difference. ETH is behind in that sense, it seems to me. Klopp and Pep are ahead in that sense (I would say Klopp more than Pep) and even though I dislike him, Arteta is showing he seems to have it also.
A week is a long time in football unless you think there was nothing between the teams during the Derby
Perhaps a more pertinent question is whether our squads are comparable to Villa and Spurs?.......In terms of how we are doing.
I’d go as far to say that Utd don’t have a single player that gets in Liverpool or City’s first 11.
Not close at all atm sadly, all three of the other teams/squads are better in damn near every position but a lot of that could be about the set up and style of play as well.
There is a gap and one that could take a while to reduce imo anyway

Really? i mean i respect your opinion but that shocked me a little, especially how well our squad has coped hanging on by a thread recently! Did we not dump them out of the FA cup at their gaff with fairly rotated squad too?
Absolutely not, as someone else said you do not possess a single player that would trouble either starting 11.

Similar level, I prefer ours though. I also prefer Villa’s overall.
Both Spurs and Villa have a better manager also.

A hard no to all of those for me. Ake isn’t first 11, Gvardiol is.

id honestly puke if we had to lose either of those players for those player im not even joking. Even a prime Bruno i wouldnt want in my team, i get the talent and everything but just no from what what ive seen comes with it, also ive loved Dom since hes been here and think his ceilings higher anyway.
Cas in his prime yes but not from what ive seen at utd, and again Endos not put a foot wrong really.
Martinez over Konate is the worse of the bunch, not even close never will be imo.Even last year when it went well for Martinez i felt he got away with murder.
Id have Shaw over Ake ngl though, not that i dont rate Ake but i honestly think Shaws been your best player for years now and actually rate him highly.
Ha ha ha ha
Lay off the drugs RDD
I'd say Dalot is as good as anyone Arsenal have at RB, and whilst TAA is better on the ball, you could argue Dalot was the better defender.
Shaw is better than Ake, Robertson or.anyonebat Arsenal right now.
Martinez is as good a player as Konate or Stones at CB
Casemiro is better than Endo.
Bruno creates more chances than anyone in the Prem.
Id take Garnacho for Gakpo if i had to, id prob take mainoo for Endo looking long term too. Think Mainoo got some real potential.
BTW I'm not asking if you would swap yours for ours. Just questioning, as individuals, is the difference in ability that great.
Dalot is absolute tripe
Casemiro is a walking yellow card and should be put out to pasture. He may have been good once but those days are past from what I’ve seen
