Kulusevski is a big problem !

Problem for Kulu is he excels at the things that people don't see as easily.

Exceptional presser, insane ball retention, decent at dictating tempo, tactically flexible.

It's the flashy goals + assists which people just judge him for.

I wouldn't call him a big problem but he needs to do more in an attacking sense. 5 goals and 8 assists in 18 games in his first season. This season, 6 goals and 3 assists in 26. He might have had Kane back then to feed to but when our other attackers have more goal contributions in less minutes then there's no excuses really.

If we want to get to the levels of the likes of Liverpool, City and Arsenal then Kulu needs to step up or be replaced in the team.

The back 5 looks fine to me, and should only get better given the age. The midfield and attacking areas are where the work needs to be done most.

Goals and points tend to correlate though.

We clearly concede too many goals whilst we score a lot. It’s marginal improvement in goals scored needed and much bigger improvements in goals conceded.

Ange has not found the balance yet. Not plying Bentancur was a mistake on Saturday as he provides more of this than Bissouma of late.

It isn't just that but as it is a big part of what is required of a winger then he should be judged for it. We've all seen him enough times getting in or near the box and making a hash of things.

He's better technically than our other options which makes it sometimes more frustrating when he gets it wrong in those dangerous positions.

Certainly don’t consider him a BIG problem though!

Based on Saturday the midfield was the biggest problem. Completly over ran.

If all this discussion about replacing Kulushevski is due to our poor showing against Fulham, then.....
that was little of Kulushevski's fault and mostly due to our midfield being totally outplayed in the second half.

If Solomon was available we would have options to replace him, say with Johnson.
However I am not at all convinced that benching Kulushevski is what is needed.
Our midfield is a BIG problem when Maddison runs out of ideas and VDV is missing at the back.

I could make a suggestion or two,,,,,,but you'd hate all of them.

I say a Big problem because Ange simply won't address it. A few tactical tweaks and instructions would improve things, but he just keeps doing the same thing again and again
