He is becoming a top fullback.

It seems some on here make their minds up on a player very early, and refuse to budge, no matter.

I think if he continues in this form, and performs well at the Euros, people will have little.choice.but to accept how good he is.

I wasn't on here last year Bro.

As for Onana, he is a good GK, no more, no less.

I like Dalot, and he's our only FB who can play both LB and RB quite naturally.

I don't really recognise some of the criticism of his defending in this thread to be honest. I think a few posters might be in for a shock if they think there are immediate and straightforward upgrades on Dalot available from a purely defensive aspect. He's good enough to be part of a solid defence without necessarily being the best defender in the backline. Our defenders in general have had a tough time getting exposed on the transition as well as being part of very mixed and unsettled defensive lineups.

I would like to see him find a little more precision in the final third. He strikes the ball really well but his crossing can be inconsistent. He has the talent, athleticism and technique to improve his attacking numbers and be a solid all rounded. I also think he's very quietly and effectively started to take up central midfield positions to help progress the ball. We've seen him doing this more and more over the last 3 months or so and he's our most capable FB at doing this.

I don't think there's any question that he's getting better and progressing. Whether his ceiling is as a very able squad player or as a longer-term starter remains to be seen of course.

I've said it before but he is a bit underappreciated and has been for a while.

Bearing in mind how Diaz tore Walker a new one, i thought he done brilliantly against him

What's the point? You approach all conversations from a disingenuous position. Whenever anyone pulls you up on anything you've said: "Nah, that was some other guy, wasn't me". I really don't get why you don't just come on here and admit you've been on here before.

Just a bit of genuine advice, take it or leave it.

I'm not RDD. If people cant get passed that and move on, then that's their problem. I'm over it.
