I've just looked at Onana's highlights

I'll probably get stick for this but even the first goal, yet again he dives to the ground so weirdly, he has such a poor technique. He was already at the near post, there's no way he should be letting those in so easily.

Greg, the reason you rate him so poorly is because some of the things you blame him for are absolutely ridiculous. The above being a prime example.

Can I make a suggestion? Go watch an episode of MOTD. Any episode. For every goal that goes in, imagine Onana is the keeper and see if you'd find a way to blame him for it if he was. Just saying...it might bring to light the cognitive bias you quite clearly have when watching him.

The first goal, the defence was pathetic yet again but just open your eyes for a few seconds and watch Onana's movements and tell me he did a good job with a straight face.

Yes, he takes absolutely no blame whatsoever for the first goal. I can assure you my face is completely straight. To suggest otherwise is indeed ridiculous, and I doubt you'd even be mentioning it if it were another keeper in goal.

I don't think you can say that as fact.
The defending was diabolical, we all know that but why does Onana dive down like that? The way he dived immediately put him at a disadvantage at getting a bit further across. He's done similar loads of times now. He has a really strange technique.
