Rob Edwards, formerly of this parish, brings his Hatters to Molineux for their first top flight clash here for over 40 years.

Edwards has defied the odds in being able to give his team a chance of avoiding relegation with four games still to go and they will be the hungry for the points.

Wolves will need to show more desire than they did on Wednesday when we were fortunate to be still in the game to even allow once more the opportunity for VAR to take a point away from us.

They say that things even themselves out over a season, can we expect then that over the remaining four games we get handed a bunch of ridiculous decisions in our favour, opposition red cards, penalties, there's your 12 points back lads? Of course not.

I would hope that the injustice will spur us defiantly on, but there was an apathy in the crowd (before the VAR farce woke everyone up) and on the pitch on Wednesday. Tired players, mentally & physically it seems, 16 year olds on the bench to fill the breach, even mumblings from O'Neil that he's exasperated and needs a break amid rumours of interviews for the Liverpool job.

It's all just gone a bit flat, for many and various reasons. Another good 2/3rds of a season, a familiar tale.

Prediction - Wolves 1 - Luton 2

Highly entertaining game between Bayern and Real last night which is well set up for the second leg. And tonight’s game between Dortmund and PSG promises to be just as good

Hadn’t realised that uk coverage of the Champions League is changing next season. TNT will continue to show Wednesday night games but the Tuesday games will be shown by Amazon. And the BBC will have a highlights programme on Wednesday evening for the best of the two nights action

TNT will continue to show the Europa League and Conference games on Thursdays

Tough one for POTS. Nice to have so many contenders unlike many recent seasons when it's been a pretty easy choice. Neto, Semedo, Cunha, Hwang, Lemina, J Gomes, maybe even T Gomes all in with a shout. Joao just nicks it for me for overall consistency and technical ability, we'll look back one day in the not too distant future and wonder how he ever played for us.

Think you missed someone Goldi. You are dead to me.

Ha, fair play, I remember looking at the list before I posted thinking, there's someone missing here

Cunha gets my vote and he also gets my vote for goal of the season. His solo run from inside our half, twisting the defenders and slotting home was pure magic.

Sorry cinci, but your lad doesn't feature in my top three, mainly because of his disappointing form during the first half of the season.

When he was playing week in week out and our results were much more consistent?

Going to be an interesting summer for our better players, several are likely to have interest with Cunha, Ait-Nouri and Joao Gomes the three likely to have the most interest.

Neto pre injury was a sure fire departure but just maybe we might keep him now with teams wary of his injury.

Can't believe any club would throw big money at Kilman but if they do then he could be a surprise departure but one we can afford to lose I think, though will we get another season out of Dawson.

Semedo and Sarabia will be entering the final year of their contracts in the summer which might put them as a priority to ship out rather than lose them on a free in 2025. They are also two of the highest paid players at the club. Semedo has been linked with a move to Saudi, and Sarabia to Besiktas in Turkey.

With Fabio looking unlikely to stay at Wolves next season, or sign permanently to Rangers, he has evidently expressed a wish to get a move to Italy or Spain. And it’s reported that Genoa and Monza from the Italian top flight would be interested.
