Ange will take an athlete with the right attitude over a 'baller all day long otherwise the disease spreads through the team and is 180 to how he wants the game played. However, getting rid might be 180 to how Levy imagines values to be realised.

Ange also won't give two fvcks about walking away. He's an Aussie ffs - fvcks are rarely given! If nothing else he brings a refreshing approach to managing. Love him.

this squad's had more spent on it than Elizabeth Taylor.
The problem is they can't pick a decent manager.

It hasn’t been spent particularly well though. Top 3, plus Man U, Newcastle and Chelsea all have better squads IMO.

We've spent well under Ange so far - Vic, VDV, Maddison all good buys. Dragusin is a good buy on paper, BJ is becoming more useful as well.

The trouble is we had so much work to do that it was never going to all be done in the space of 2 windows. We've still got a number of players to replace, and some that were before reliable who have become inconsistent or gone backwards.

Good buys include Vicario, Romero, VDV, Udogie, Porro, and possibly Kulushevski.
Maddison I'm not convinced will make the center field captain that we need.
As for Dragusin, ...well Aussieglue pesuades him to come to Spurs in stead of Bayern Munich, and then leaves him on the bench....whats that about?

Does the guy know how to use players when he gets them?
Son is not getting any younger either.

So Levy can go shell out for next season, but I'm not convinced we have any kind of tactical genius for a manager.

Oh yes, Brennan Johnson was a disaster against Chelsea. scared to shoot when he gets a chance.

Bentancur may come good, maybe one of the playes Ange wants to swap out, along with Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Gil,....
Who knows?
Maybe we need to swap out the manager too?

As for Aussieglue complaining about his squad....well maybe he has a point .....but
Is he enough of a tactician to use a good squad?

I see one tactic for ALL occasions.......high line and attack.Never a plan B, not even when down to 9 men.

One of two things have got to happen now.......
1.we get some kind of European football next season, OR
2. Aussieglue goes back to Scotland.

5th place is not a lock in for us.

1) Bring in a bloke who was successful in Scotland & expect him to take the Prem by storm
2) Sell the best English striker in years & don't replace him unless you count Richarlison as adequate

We all know how this likely ends, he won`t be backed to the required levels in the summer, squad will be left short, unwanted players will remain and hang around dragging everyone around them down, results are not as expected, Ange sacked by xmas.

Well whether Ange is the right manager going forward or not, we know we need some new faces anyway. Get some in the summer, give Ange some time into the new season and if it's still failing we'll know by then he isn't what we need.

Have patience , I remember the fans wanting Keith Burkinshaw's sacking in his first season...
