73m owed by end of june

That’s how much we owe on the 49ers Marsch era signings.

Where do we come up with that money?

How do we afford any inbound transfers this summer?

Would be tempted to see what Aaronson can do at this level. There is talent in there and let's be honest, a lot of us didn't rate James and probably wanted him gone, so perhaps Farke can get a tune out of him.

Summerville and Gnonto go, 25 and 20 respectively. Don't see Rutter or Gray going, both are young, settled and have plenty of football available here at a team that are going to be big favs to go up next season, 1 more season isn't going to hurt. As Batty said, plenty of work to do but we can build a good side around Ampadu, Kamara, Gruev, Gray, James and a few others, new faces needed obviously.

Build the side around Kamara and Gruev - is this a joke? Gruev doesn’t know that you can pass forward. Kamara has one decent game in 4. Both have provided sweet FA in terms goals or assists from midfield. Confused.

Gray has 50 games under his belt so definitely agree with that. Amps didn’t cover himself in glory when in midfield prior to going in defence either - mainly because he doesn’t have any creativity in middle or park with him. But yeah let’s build around Kamara and Gruev ffs

Gruev would make a good rugby player…can’t pass forward.

So as I see it, from Batty's list we have Darlow, Klaesson, Struijk, Firpo, Ampadu, Gruev, Kamara, Gyabi, Joseph, Bamford and Piroe.

Not sure how we build a team worthy of promotion from that.

Come to think of it, had we won yesterday, where do you start preparing the team for next year, pretty sure we would have been down to the same bare bones.

Based on what I found, this is the list of players we
can probably guarantee will be with us next season.

Look at them though:

Darlow - Not very good
Klaesson - Bit of an unknown
Struijk - Solid for Championship
Firpo - Can't defend
Ampadu - Solid for Championship
Gruev - I understand A14s issue(s) with him
Kamara - Same as Gruev
Gyabi - Unknown
Joseph - Could be very good at this level
Bamford - Injury prone and 30+
Piroe - Not sure what to think about him

Like I said, 49ers have a lot to sort out.

And based on that, wouldn't you have taken LIW's kind offer last night if you were Farke, to walk away with your head held high and your reputation pretty much intact.

And I swear, though I cannot be bothered to look for it, that earlier in the season, he was raving about how good a manager Farke was for his handling of the Cresswell situation.

Would like to see Gray and Ampadu in Midfield next season with a decent number 10 in front of him. Sheffield United are willing to sell Hamer apparently for around 15m. Theres others availabel too in this league who did well last season. Szmodics for instance.

We will likely lose Gnonto and Summerville. So id like to see Rutter and James on the wings with another signing there to complement.

Wouldnt surprise me to see Harry Gray fighting for a position as well. Talented winger by all accounts.

Cresswell, Gelhardt and Greenwood are probably going to leave as they haven't featured which is a shame.

If we got Hamer, Szmodics and a keeper like Palmer at West Brom, we would be in with a decent shout, no matter who leaves.
