Going to see The Eagles in concert next week at Co-op Live. Really looking forward to it.
I have some questions:
Anyone been to Co-op Live, and if so, what do you make of the venue?
Anyone have a concert booked for an old band?
Best concert you’ve been to?
Best venue for a concert?

Nothing huge but going to see CKY in a small venue in Nottingham in November, loved them back in my teens and they were the first proper gig I went to as a 14 year old at this same venue, saw they were doing a little tour and had to go.

Aint watched a live gig in years...been to all sorts of venues in the past, stadiums & smaller venues, Proms in the park
Used to watch U2 a lot - i'd really love to go watch Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood do some old Blind Faith stuff

My sister went to see The Eagles and Doobie Brothers at Coop Live last night.
Seems all the problems have been fixed and the acoustics were brilliant even on the top level.

Tom Johnston has still got a great live voice despite being 75

Pat Simmons isn't too bad either. He does two of my favorite Doobie songs, I cheat the Hangman and Toulouse Street.
They play a superb outdoor venue called Wolf Trap just outside Washingtom DC.

I saw them on Sky Arts live from beacon theatre New York, was really good, Johnston’s vocals on White Sun were top notch

She sent me a couple of clips from both bands.
Michael McDonald still has it, Joe Walsh is amazing for 78.

The eagles will be great, enjoy. Coop looks a great venue for pre drinks/ food, but there’s loads of places in Manchester anyway.
Going to see Foo Fighters in June, staying over in the city for the evening.
