Crazy to see how a manager that looked soooo out of his depth and a player who also did now coming up trumps!
Austria would SPANK the current United team into next week without breaking a sweat. All whilst being managed by a former reject filled with players United fans wouldn’t want 1000miles near the team.
Amazing the difference a good set up and players willing to put in some effort makes right? Wonder what Ralf would have been able to achieve at United had he come into a club with a proper set up and players who were willing to be coached.

Sorry pal but we all know that put United against that exact Poland team and there’s no way they come out looking as good as Austria did yesterday.

Pretty sure that in our last game we looked pretty good against the best team, by far, in the country.

Silly comparison. National sides would struggle massively against far more coherent club sides who train with one another every day.
Ralf struggled because of all the reason other managers failed at United but also because everyone knew he was only there for a few months and had no real power or authority so the players never cared.

Ralf was approached to be interim manager, but he wanted a 2 yearncontracr to reflect the contract he would be giving up, to go to United, so we agreed, and said he would be a consultant for thr 2nd year.
Ralf was then offered the Austria job and left. Nothing to do with Erik.
