Glad we didn’t spend 100 million on him.
Would no doubt have improved us hugely in the short term but it would have been more short termism by the club.

We heard similar about the like of RVP and Berbatov and they declined rapidly after 30.
Kane is clearly superior to Hojlund now but we might not be saying the same in 2-3 years time.

We might not but we also haven’t seen much to think he will definitely be our main striker in a few years, I hope he does.
I don’t read too much in International tournaments and offensively England had no rhythm at all. Kane was excellent for Bayern, he got 56 goals and assists and he’ll get a load more next season too.

Btw I’m not suggested we should have bought Kane last summer, just that considering he was only £17m more than Hojlund I don’t think you can say we dodged a bullet when Hojlund isn’t guaranteed to succeed himself at the club.
I also don’t think Kane is anywhere near finished just because he had a poor Euros. No striker had a particularly good tournament and England were terrible going forward, not just Kane.

It's the tactics that made him look rubbish. The team has zero chemistry. Just individuals playing for themselves. He's a world class striker, one of the best in the world. I mean Foden and Bellingham looked like pub players playing for England.

Kane is cursed. He even stopped Bayern Munich winning the league last year. I have no doubt England will lift a trophy once he steps down from the starting line up.

I personally thought it was hilarious that Kane was willing to exchange everything he’s achieved in football, (the square root of fack all) for the Euros title.
Keep em coming Harry 😂

Kane wouldn't have made much difference to us last season. He might have scored a few more goals than Hojlund, but our main problem us creating chances for our forwards. Kane doesn't really create chances himself and would have been frustrated at United last season with the lack of service.
It is worth noting that Kane's conversation rate in the PL is a goal every 5.5 shots. Hojlund's in comparison is a goal every 3.8 shots. Obviously with Hojlund we are talking about a much smaller sample size, but I think it supports that the main issue with Hojlund is a lack of service. He was especially frustrated in the early part of the season where his runs were constantly being ignored.
