GNev is really getting on my nerves of late

In more than one interview since Sunday he's labelled Harry Kane as England's greatest ever player. 😂

This guy has one of the biggest platforms in the English game and he regularly chats absolute nonsense. Think it's hilarious too that his Cucarella will hold back Spain comment has backfired too.

How is Kane our greatest ever player or even close? You played for United Gary so you should be aware of Sir Bobby Charlton's achievements. World cup winner, European cup winner and also won the Balon D'or. Likes of Bobby Moore overlooked as well etc.

He's not even ahead of Rooney, Scholes, Lampard and Gerrard for me. How could he be? Those players were just as talented, if not more so, but actually won stuff at club level.

Kane is up there but his lack of trophies hold him back. This tournament did damage to his legacy imo as it was a great chance to redeem himself.
Greatest ever English player is probably Charlton, was a record goal scorer for decades and won numerous trophies for club and the only trophy for the country to date.
More recent ones you can say anyone of the golden gen but on international stage they al disappointed big time.
Then you’re perhaps left with Gazza as the other one with the claim.

I think he's doing so much stuff that he doesn't really have the time to look into his opinions or reflect on them. He just says some nonsense then he's onto the next show or podcast or whatever

Kane may still score goals but he's not half the player he was 3 or 4 years ago.

Well he's be an excellent pundit if he wasn't so petulant.
His observations, humour and delivery are all good.
