New England Manager - Latest Odds

Graham Potter - 2/1
Lee Carsley 7/2
Eddie Howe 5/1
Poch 14/1
Klopp 14/1
Lampard 20/1

So who do you fancy from that lot? What does your head say? What does your heart say?

Klopp's obviously the best of the bunch, but I'm not sure his style would work with a team that perennially looks shattered come big tournaments.

Out of the English names there, I think Howe would be the best bet.

Wouldn't want Norbert, he won't be managing a team of 13 and dragged along by the officials if in charge of England, and he's German
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So not only are you facking insane you're xenophobic as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's xenophobic about wanting an English manager to manage England exactly, in an international competition pitted between countries?

Are you against countries competing against each other then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So are you in the bitter Billy club then?
"Can't have one of the best managers in world football because he's German"
Sorry, that just stinks of xenophobia.
It's somewhat predictable and just what I would expect from BB, but you?

Did you all voice such concerns when Sven was appointed? Or Capello?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It has nothing to do with being xenophobic ffs. I'm English and would want an English manager managing England, a position as important, if not more, than any player. I mean what's the point in international competition between countries if we can just take a player, or in this case a manager, from whatever country we want?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So answer the last question I asked.

You’re making something out of nothing, don’t be a pillock

Having given careful consideration 😀 to those who’s been put forward, I can only endorse JNK’s name as the next England ‘boss’/‘gaffer’.

Well, Greasy, I have to admit I was a bit of a Spurs fan (maybe still a teeny-weeny bit). I had no choice having been shoved into digs a very short distance from the ground (between Northumberland Park & Brantwood Road) in the late 70’s & early 80’s. I was often down ‘The Lane’ to watch them. For me, anyway, the best nightlife ‘darntherr’ 😀

Given Klopp and Howe are highly unlikely to take it and some of the names don't jump out, I'd take a risk with Carsley. Apparently done well with City's academy and also won the U21 Euros with England.
