Just read an interview with Ten Hag about the community shield game, in which he refers to the game as 'a final to prepare for'. Now if that doesn't tell you everything about this guy's mentality then I don't know what will. The community shield is NOT a final (nor is it a trophy), yet Ten Hag with his below par aura seems to think it is. I cannot believe how much he's conned some of our fan base after that Oleball style win vs City at Wembley. We finished 8th for God's sake!!
Can you imagine if we win against City? Heaven forbid the weather is nice that weekend, because our manager may just call for an open top bus parade. We are not Wigan Athletic, we are Manchester United and we cannot have a manager who thinks the community shield is a trophy ffs. That and his constant favouritism to sign players from the Dutch league, or players he's managed before, tells you all you need to know. He has to go. He is NOT good enough.
