Awful news, sounds like he lost his battle with cancer and this is a real loss to the football club from a coach (and former manager) that was a huge part of our most successful period. Rest in Peace

RIP Shakey, such sad news.
Thank you for the part you played in our rise from League One to Premier League champions, and also one of the greatest Leicester City home games I’ve ever seen, against Sevilla.

Really sad news, puts things into perspective.
Was integral part of our great season and always did his best for club.
No age at all.
So sorry to hear this,so upsetting.
Can only think of his family.
Great football man.

I was there at that match, the atmosphere was absolutely electric, he gave us an incredible night. What a great coach and a thoroughly decent human being

Shocked and saddened when I heard Shakey had been taken away by illness at such a young age. Absolutely fantastic coach and person in and around our club, RIP Craig.

Truly awful news. Really caught me cold when I heard this news last week.
A fantastic coach who was a big part in the most successful era for our football club. To win a league with two different managers shows what a great assistant and coach he was. It's a shame it never worked for him as a manager but he was clearly someone the players respected.
RIP Shakey
