Todibo going to Juve for £22m is a kick in the teeth for Jim and his team when we weren’t allowed to buy him, decent fee. Would’ve been slandered if we’d paid so little for him tbf as ‘below market value’ etc.

That's daylight robbery! For him to go so cheap I wonder if there is some kind of clause inserted about certain offers from another club, namely Utd?

Romano just tweeted about Ugarte too, no new information of course, he just wanted to tweet I guess.

Manuel Ugarte keeps waiting for Man United as he’s agreed on personal terms two weeks ago. He wants United.

Man United and PSG remain in contact, loan with obligation also discussed.

Outgoings key for Man United but Ugarte remains top target.

Sofyan Amrabat, also on list.

Could be a false dawn but I've been encouraged by Casemiro's pre-season form. I still want him out but could go some way to redeem his disastrous form last season.

Definitely need Ugarte, I think it will still happen, matter of time. We may be busy with other transfers since we are involved, potentially, with two from Bayern coming in, AWB leaving for West Ham, McT may also be on the move.

A window that gave us Yoro and Zirkzee with potential additions of Mazaraoui, De Ligt and Ugarte would be immense. New structure have exceeded expectations in terms of how business has been conducted, the transfer strategy and the speed of transfer. We are not in the business of messing around or being messed around either!

That just takes the p*ss.

United were willing to pay £35m, but were blocked by UEFA from doing so, as it could have been construed as the ownership interfering in order to manipulate a lower fee on behalf of United....

At the same time they gave the green light for Savio to be moved from one City Group club to another this summer. Girona to Man City for a maximum fee (if all clauses are met) of £30m, but only around £20m is guaranteed. Savio has an open market value of £40-50m....

From what I’ve seen he has at least looked leaner and sharper. His ball retention is still a huge concern though. If he’s 1st choice this season will be a struggle imo. If he’s willing to accept a squad role he may be useful.

Would prefer him off the wage bill though. Apparently highest wages at the club & the 4th highest paid player in the league.

Watch the Real Betis game, he was pretty good all round, in particular his ball distribution. In the games prior he was OK at best. Very early days, not getting carried away though.

Ideally would prefer both Casemiro and McT off the wage bill but realistically it's one or the other this summer. McT looking more and more likely to go, Casemiro next summer.

Manchester United are prepared to return in talks with Bayern for Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui!

Agreement until June 2029 plus option already done with both players days ago, now working on club side.

Players’ camp, confident as they are only waiting for United.

Seems like we have to get some outgoing business done first, likely Lindelof and AWB.

I think you're right 👍

AWB was trying hard to pick up an injury against Liverpool to derail the move no doubt ! 😂
